Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 26

Recommended Posts

Welcome to week twenty six of

our Rays Funds season. This week we have Graham Humphrey making the final six

selections. Graham has been with us from the very start and never misses a

week. He’s a very consistent picker and has won with these selections before.

Graham’s on top form right now with 8 consecutive winning picks. He’s also been

coming to our social gatherings from the very start, is a fully fledged Nelson

Numpty and is always on hand to keep me updated with the scores in the pub

after the game. So as you can see our Graham is a Rays Funds rock. He’s also

one of those hardy souls who follows City home and away rarely missing a game

and also takes in the U21 and U18 games at carrow Road. I think he will get us

back to winning ways after that ridiculously unlucky 5/6 last weekend. At least

that means we have a £20 free bet this week thanks to Mandie and Nigel

generously doubling last week’s bet. Let’s help Graham by giving our very best

suggestions from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed

on the William Hill site.

There’s no Norwich

game this weekend. It’s a shame because we are on a fantastic run with these

having achieved a return in each of the last 8 weeks.

Emma emailed me earlier this week with the good news that we have a fixture for our wonderful DS team

on Saturday 6th February up at the FDC in Bowthorpe against Inspire Suffolk.

Kick off is 11am, Emma asked me to spread the word around

our group as you are more than welcome to come up and watch. The team would

really appreciate our support. I will be there to meet anyone who can make it.

Now I’ll hand the thread over to Graham Humphrey. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Graham ... the thread is

yours.......[:)]..

I''m giving the FA cup a wide berth this time around and going to league ! where a change of manager hasn''t effected Burton in any way and they should be to good for Rochdale and at 6/4 too.

Rochdale V Burton away win

Good luck Graham.

I''ve been on shocking form recently, so I wouldn''t go with this unless you''re feeling obscenely confident – it''s more a calculated gamble to attempt to catapult myself up the profitability table! However, Birmingham are pretty strong away from home and going well after trouncing Ipsh*t recently, whereas Bristol City have only won three home games all season. So I''m going for an away win Bristol City v Birmingham, odds approximately 2/1.Good luck!

Thanks everyone for their picks so far and to Eddie for giving me the chance to do this once again.  It''s always good fun doing this but it would be even more fun if we can crack the six this week.  Personally I have had one or two near misses in recent years, but hopefully with my own recent good form we can pull it out of the bag this time.Just want to point out that I''ll be doing my picks early on Friday - between 4 and 5 in fact - as I''m going out after work and anyone who knows me will know that never ends early, sober, or with any dignity.  So that gives us all a bit less time, but there''s no reason why there shouldn''t be a decent selection to pick from all the same.I''ll be back Friday with my final six and my own pick for the week.

A bit of a risk this week, but you don''t win something unless you risk a little bit!

Rochdale vs Burton - Away win!

Burton in great form and looking to stay at the top of the table, Rochdale not doing so good. Burton have won a few tricky away games of late including beating 2nd place Gillingham 3-0 on their own turf so I think they''re worth a risk.

For the Norwich bet it''s hard to look away from Naismith scoring again.
Of course one might say "why ever didn''t nutty choose a week for Graham that involved less alcohol".

But then again...
Graham - alcohol - I thought you were talking about Smithy there.........What is it about these grahams? [:D]

Moving away from not so bonny Scotland which has served me so well in

the past but has been a disaster this season. I''ll try my luck in the

National League where Aldershot entertain basket case Kidderminster with

just two wins all season.Aldershot v Kidderminster.......Home win.Good luck Graham. [Y]
