6088m canary 0 Posted February 7, 2016 No doubt get the usual can''t play without two holding midfielders nonsense but why not bring it back?Brady is definitely able to cover the left both offenseively and defensively. The right is a little more complicated but im sure somebody could cover it. Oneil for example would be disciplined enough to hold his position, track back and help out offensively.Either Wes or Naismith are ideally suited to sit behind a front two. In fact if youre going to play Wes (and to a lesser degree SN) then there really is no other position he fits. With Bamford having signed it would be interesting to see him up alongside Mbokani or Jerome. We know our defense is shite so why not at least give the opposition something to think about? Not saying its the ultimate solution but with the available resources it could be worth a go again?? Katie Borkins 1 Posted February 7, 2016 Too narrow and leaves our full backs exposed, even more than usual. No thanks. 5 in midfield is the way forward.
te94 0 Posted February 7, 2016 If we had any intention of playing 2 up top, we would not have sold Hooper. But I would welcome a return to the diamond; can it be worse that yesterday?
