This lot couldn't win a P***-up in a brewery
Lack of Peroni and Jamesons Irish seems to be the problem.
We haven''t signed those players yet Ricardo - but I''m sure they''ll go down well when we do. [:)]

A Pi$$ up in a brewery would actually be quite difficult to organise if you think about it:
 • You might have a lot of beer on hand, but you''re going to need to set up temporary bars to serve it, and hire staff to man them.
 • There will be sufficient toilet facilities for the workforce only. You''re going to need to bring in temporary toilets to handle the increased load.
 • Transportation is difficult too. Breweries tend to be on the outskirts of towns, meaning people will need to be driven there. You''d need coaches or minibuses since people can''t drive home afterwards. If you''re lucky, there will be public transport but it probably won''t run late enough for getting people home.
 • A brewery is an industrial facility. There are lots of ways for people to hurt themselves, or cock up batches of beer by pressing buttons or contaminating the tanks. You''d need security people, plus barriers.
 • Catering too. More staff and temporary structures.
 • You might need to get a temporary licence to sell alcohol from the local council.

How about a pissup in a micro-brewery? Still technically a brewery, but with all the toilets and tills etc.

That''s a 21st century p-up in a brewery. Most of us 20th century people (a few 19th) where all you need is a bottle/glass and a wall.

Think you may have stumbled onto the answer to the teams current problems here Lapps, just give the players a quick tot of rum each before they go out onto the pitch.
