Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 27

Recommended Posts

Welcome to week twenty seven of

our Rays Funds season. This week we have Cosmic Twin making the final six

selections. Cosmic is one of our real stars having won with the final six on

three previous occasions. Only Yankee and Inchy can better that fantastic

record. Cosmic is also a consistently towards the top of our PUPs league and

this year is no exception because her impressive record is 22/26 85%. We met

Cosmic in the Nelson earlier this season and it was great to meet yet another

of our top PUPs. I think we’ve got a great chance of getting back to winning

ways with Cosmic this weekend but she will need our very best selections from

the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 sites.

It’s also a great

pleasure to introduce JF who’s making the Norwich selections for our game at

Villa this weekend. The great thing about having this second string to our bow

is that it gives our newest PUPs an earlier opportunity to get further involved

in Rays Funds. And I know that was one of the reasons our anonymous benefactor

sponsored these bets. JF has already proved to be a great addition to our team

and I’m looking forward to his selections. JF, you have a tenner to spend buddy

from the PUPs selections and your own.

Don’t forget that we have a

fixture for our wonderful DS team on Saturday 6th February up at the FDC in

Bowthorpe against Inspire Suffolk.

Kick off is 11am, Emma asked me to spread the word around

our group as you are more than welcome to come up and watch. The team would

really appreciate our support. I will be there to meet anyone who can make it.

Now I’ll hand the thread over to Cosmic Twin and JF. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Lynda and JF ... the thread is

yours....... [:)].......

Thanks NN, looking forward to seeing the suggestions for the Norwich vs Villa match and I can''t contemplate anything other than a positive result for us in it.

I''m going to have another stab at the Australian A league this week after my failure there last week!

Newcastle Jets vs Melbourne City. Away win for Melbourne who are lethal up front.

My Norwich bet is Naismith any time goal scorer

Inter to win at Verona, odds around 4/5. Verona still haven''t won a single Serie A match this season, and after losing the Milan derby last weekend Inter will be keen to get their Champions League push back on track. For the Norwich match, I''ll go for a crazy, topsy-turvy 4-2 win at 100/1.Good luck everybody!

Northampton vs York - home win. A classic top vs bottom but with relatively good odds of 1.5 atm.

For the match bet, surely we have to back a Norwich win - without having a good look at the odds it''s hard to suggest what''s best but maybe something like Hissing Sid for HT/FT Norwich or HT draw FT Norwich.

First go at a pick from me.

For the Norwich match, given our defensive woes and the fact that we''ve pretty much got to win, over 2.5 looks like a good bet.

I also fancy Stoke to beat Everton.

For my pick I think Arsenal will win at Bournemouth on Sunday luchtime : -

Bournemouth          v          Arsenal          Away Win

For our game Norwich to win and both teams to score is 11/2 so I''ll go with that.

Got my fingers burnt recently going for value for money so this week I''m going for the slightly less risky Porto v Arouca home win.

For City''s game Wes to score again but this time he''ll celebrate.

Good luck all.

Good luck everyone and especially Cosmic Twin & JF.
This week''s outlier is:
Southampton to draw with West Ham (5/2)
More likely (though the odds suggest otherwise) is:
Naismith to score (13/5)

The Spanish Segunda Division.Deportivo Alaves to win at home against Llagostera.Top versus one from bottom. Deportivo Alaves have a reasonable 7-3-2 and 19/10 home record. Llagostera, which sounds like a Dylan Thomas village, have a 0-1-11 and 5/25 away record. The current odds are an attractive 4/9, which may suggest the bookmakers know something the rare figures don''t reveal.---For the Norwich City bet I suggest Naismith to score two or more goals, at 25/1.Good luck to all!

Celtic to win at East Kilbride (away win) for me this week please.

For the city bet, I think 0-2 win for the Norfolk boy''s, a repeat of the Carrow Road fixture.

Good luck to all merry pups, have a great weekend and see some of you in Brum !!
