spencer 1970 203 Posted February 8, 2016 ...some light in a dark week...http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35526983"Bournemouth are said to have overspent on £7m Norwich striker Lewis Grabban".According to the CIES research team, which analyses transfers in Europe''s big five leagues, that was more than £6m too much....i''d have still liked Afobe here though :(

Players are worth whatever anybody else will pay for them.
Move Klose 303 Posted February 8, 2016 This is the same report that says Jonjo Shelvey is worth £23.5m. So that gives you an indication of how good that report is.
AJ 1,218 Posted February 9, 2016 It''s all about market value. Do you really think a new Samsung mobile is worth 700 quid? Or your tv is worth what you paid for it, or your car? Of course not. But, you were willing to pay what you did for it. Grabban is no different. Bournemouth paid what we feel he was worth to us. Overpriced by a long way in reality, I agree, but Bournemouth wanted him so they had to pay an asking price. Re: Naismith, the fee is higher than his value, however, value doesn''t factor in experience etc. and for that I feel what we paid for him was an okay price
Canaryfootyexpert 0 Posted February 9, 2016 I think Grabban will come good. With lack of playing time and not much to give him a confidence boost it is bound to take a few outings to get going. Sometimes it cannot be measured just in goals scored alone, its about contribution to the overall team performance, if Bournmouth stay up,and I think they will ,then it''s money well spent. Also managers do not always play players to their strengths.Eddie Howe knows Grabban well and my guess is you will be hearing much more about Grabban before the end of the season. Dave 0 Posted February 9, 2016 http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2015/136/en/Same report says we paid £7.5 mil for klose - and 1 paper says we signed him for £7.6 mill for him so in that claim hes worth 100k
andgreen 0 Posted February 9, 2016 Don''t need a research team to tell us that, how we got that money for Grabban was a great bit of business
