Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 30

Recommended Posts

Welcome to week thirty of our

Rays Funds season. This week we have Norfolkchance1 in

charge of our final six selections. Norfolk has been with us since the start

and Ray certainly viewed him as one of our “lovely old boys”. Craig’s a top PUP

who’s already won twice before with the final selections. So I think there’s

every chance of us following up on Chelle’s win and a personal hat-trick for

Craig. Let’s help him with our very best
selections from the games

played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 sites.

We have another top PUP making

the Norwich selections for our game at Leicester because Kathy’s in the hot

seat. Kathy’s also got two wins on Ray’s signature as well as beinga great

supporter of our Ray’s Funds community. You have a tenner to spend Kathy, from

the PUPs selections and your own.

The rota’s practically all set

for March. Just need Hector to confirm.

theres no pressure because we are

all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together

with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Craig and Kathy ... the thread is

I''m going for a match in the Danish Superliga, where Kobenhavn play Ejsberg. Kobenhavn are top and Ejsberg are one off the bottom. Odds on a home win are 4/9.

For the Norwich bet, I''ll go for us to sneak a draw.

Good luck to all PUPs, especially Norfolkchance1 and Kathy.

apologies for yet again more missed weeks. everything has been hectic since christmas.

For the accum. I''m off to league one for a Wigan win v Bury.

for the Norwich bet - I fancy one of our new boys to make a name for himself and finally take advantage of that height he has. Klose goal anytime.

I have been shockingly bad recently, think I''m in danger of slipping below a 50% success rate! Therefore, I''m going to try to hex Leicester by predicting Leicester v Norwich – HOME WIN.Let''s hope that my losing run continues!

I''m yet to pick a winner, so take these with a pinch of salt.

Spurs to beat Swansea looks pretty nailed on.

As for the Norwich bet, I can''t face betting on the opposition, so would recommend taking a HALF TIME bet of a DRAW- I think the market slightly underestimates our ability to cope with Leicester for the first 45 minutes - 7/5 at bet365.

Afternoon all,

A great result last week, sadly not so good personally. Hartlepool vs Northampton - AWAY WIN. Northampton on an incredible run which I doubt Hartlepool will be able to put a stop to.

As for Norwich bet - the shackles off Redmond you say? Well, I would wager a bet he''ll be looking to score anytime.

Off to sunny Spain[H]

Villareal          v          Levante           Home Win

8/13 looks paticularly good odds for this so maybe the bookies know something. My only concern would be that Villarreal have just had difficult games against Napoli and Atletico Madrid and play Napoli again tonight.

For the Norwich bet it could be worth a quid to take up the enhanced odds Bill Hill are giving with Norwich to win and Naismith to score at 14/1.

When I first went to play at Parma I used to train with a guy who''d come from the Foggia set up. He lived not far away and we used to do extra training for hours together every day. We got quite telepathic. He taught me a lot and was a good friend to me.

He supports Bologna (no, I don''t get it either), but in his honour this week''s pick is:

Foggia vs Lupa Castelli Romani - Home win

Good luck Norfolk...

Parma ⚽️🏆🍀👌👏🍝🍝

As for Bella Kathy''s Norwich pick....

...must say Nutella''s Norwich win and Naismith to score at 14s looks lush...

Perhaps something specific like Redmond to win a penalty? Can see him coming in from three quarter positions and driving at central-ish areas down the sides of centre backs this week....

Parma 👏👌😘🍝🍝💁💁💁🎉🍀😻

Look at me doing blokes stuff!

Normally when a man gives me some money to spend, I head off straight down the shops and buy myself something nice to wear. But apparently I’m not allowed to do that so my friend Michelle has lent me her pin and I’m going to have a go at this football thingie.

With the form of these two sides unfortunately it’s difficult to see beyond a home win. As the main purpose of thus bet is to raise money for the CSF I am going to reflect this in some of the picks.

But you know I’ve felt all along Leicester’s bubble will burst at some time and why not this weekend? Eddie and I were talking walking back from the game a couple of weeks back and we said with all the freak results there had been this season it was always worth putting at least one long shot in the NCFC bet, so I’m going to do that as well.

So here it is:

£2.50 Vardy to score at any time.

£2.50 Mahrez to score at any time.

£1 Naismith to score at any time.

£1 Leicester to keep a clean sheet.

£1 > 3.5 goals

£1 half time Leicester/full time Norwich

£1 Howson/draw

Apologies if this all sounds a bit disloyal, but this way we win whatever happens.

For my pick this week Nutty I’ll do Aberdeen to beat St Johnston.

Great options covered there Kathy. [Y]

Just checking on a couple...

Is it "over 3.5 goals"?

Howson to score 1st / full time result: draw?

Scottish League Two where impressive at home Elgin (9-3-0-23-6) entertain rock bottom East Stirling (1-3-8-15-29).Elgin v East Stirling.......Home win.

For the Norwich game, form and league position suggests a battering but as we all know on Rays Funds, if form and league position were the only consideration, we would win every week but as we know, every week there are shock results.Leicester are expected to win so the pressure is all on them. Conversely, City have had a break in the sun allowing the new signings time to bond and the manager chance to try new things so I''m quietly confident we can go there and get a result. But not just a result, a confident win.Leicester 0 Norwich City 2.Good luck NC1 and Kathy. [Y]

with the help of Kathy''s pin I can see a bubble bursting and I assume the pin will be at the King power on Saturday.

my pick is Leicester v Norwich away win at 5/1

It''s my first away game of the season so let''s have a Brady 1st goal to celebrate.

Good luck pickers - and just to let you know I haven''t had a winning bet in 2016 yet... you have been warned.
