JJ 0 Posted December 5, 2015 Can someone actually tell me what either of them are bringing to the team at the moment? Howson scores the odd goal or two admittedly but Dorrans can''t even pass forwards!
daly 497 Posted December 5, 2015 Howson and Grabban are AN''s favorites and he always speaks highly of both.
gitto 0 Posted December 5, 2015 Problem is Alex Neil reverting to a defensive approach like Chris Hughton gives away the fact that both managers don''t actually believe in their players own ability and therefore undermines their confidence to compete at this level. You compare that to Paul Lambert when he was at Norwich who got players like Grant Holt, Elliot Ward and Bradley Johnson to perform well at this level. Then you also take into account Liverpool under Klopp and the difference it makes when a manager makes players believe that they are world beaters.
unique 434 Posted December 5, 2015 They both seem so lacking in dynamism and drive. They would have both been left wanting in Bournmouth''s midfield against Chelsea this evening.AN might as well start with Mulumbu and OOJ, and add some real bite to the midfield.Although it is high time Redmond started delivering at a higher and more regular level. He can''t ply his trade on ''potential'' for his entire career.
