nutty nigel 7,352 Posted December 2, 2015 Welcome to week eighteen of our Rays Funds season. This week we have our academy star Twidio in charge of the final six selections. He’s a birthday boy on Saturday when he’ll be 12. Still our youngest PUP but also one of our longest serving. This season Ryan has 11/14 79% correct picks. If only his grandad could be as consistent as that!! Ryan was successful this weekend last season where he got all six in the most nail biting weeks we have ever had. Three games were won in added on time helping us get another £54 for the CSF and Twidio proudly displayed on Ray’s signature. There was some extra special PUP power at work that weekend. Well that and the fact Twidio was brought up on Arrdee’s sausages. I don’t think us old boys could cope with a repeat of last season’s late winners so let’s find Ryan some selections that can win in 90 minutes from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites. AJ kindly stepped in at late notice to be in charge of the Norwich selections for the game at Watford. AJ is having a fantastic season and heads our profitability league with a massive 6.15 profit from his 17 selections. He was in thje hot seat for the final six games just last month where he had an unlucky 5/6. You have a tenner to spend AJ however you please from the PUPs selections and your own. Here’s a picture from earlier this season when us PUPs met as usual in the Nelson after the Bournemouth game showing Twidio with his trophy for being the youngest ever final six winner alongside Tilly and Lapps with their trophies for being the oldest winners……. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Twidio and AJ. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Ryan and Adam ... the thread is yours....... PurpleCanary 5,531 Posted December 2, 2015 The Slovenian 1. SNLMaribor to win at home against Krsko.Maribor, second, have a so-so 5-4-1 and 27/14 home record, but have scored 14 goals in the last three of those games. Krsko, bottom, have a reasonable-looking 0-3-6 away record but have only scored 4 and conceded 22 in those. In games tonight Maribor drew away with the team in third while Krsko lost at home to the team in sixth.Odds are not yet available, but should be in time. I am away from the internet for a few days and won''t be able to confirm that, so I would be grateful if Twidio or someone else could check.---For the match-day bet I suggest - it must happen eventually - Norwich City to score a penalty.Good luck to all! Kathy 728 Posted December 2, 2015 Greece for me folks. PAOK v Panionios home win.Not too confident about City''s game I''m afraid after we put 6 past them with no reply last season. Half time City / full time Watford should produce a good return.Good luck Twidio and AJ. OTBC

Mr Apples 1,314 Posted December 3, 2015 I''ll continue with the Greek Super League theme and go for Panthrakikos v Olympiakos (Olympiakos away win). For the City bet I''ll go for draw H/T, Norwich F/T (and a sneaking suspicion Redmond will score). All the best everyone!Apples
Feedthewolf 4,790 Posted December 3, 2015 Good luck Twidio! My pick for this week is Inter to win at home to Genoa in Serie A. Inter are in second place with a 5-1-1 home record, and Genoa down in 15th place with an 0-3-4 away record. Odds of 8/13 for the home win offer a good balance of risk and reward. For the match bet, both teams to score and Norwich to win at 11/2 seems like a decent bet. I don''t think we''ll be as cagey as in recent weeks, and Watford will be gunning for a win.
AJ 1,218 Posted December 3, 2015 Afternoon all, And thanks again for a nice intro Nutty and as always for giving us the opportunity to take part in such a wonderful cause. I have been very disappointed to get 5/6 in every attempt so far, but if that record continues this weekend I might be glad to get 5/6 for once! I''ll be back later on Friday to study peoples suggestions and consider the best ways to get some extra money into the pot.My selection this week is a bit of a risk as I usually avoid cup games due to often being unpredictable in nature (who say a 6-1 Liv. victory at Southampton coming before last night?!). However, Wigan have been in decent form of late with 3 wins in the last five, and only losing to Burton who are top by a solitary goal. Barnsley are right at the bottom of the table 8 losses in their last 10 games. The tastiest thing about this fixture is the odds at 1.8. I wouldn''t call it a banker but it''s definitely my pick of the week; Wigan vs Barnsley home win in the JPT!
chellecity 0 Posted December 3, 2015 Portugal this weekFC Porto vs Pacos de Ferreira - Home WinAnd for the match bet, a goal for Robbie BradyGood luck everyone, especially Twidio and AJ
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted December 3, 2015 Something tells me this is going to be a good week all round, what a pair of pickers, Youth and experience, is the order of the day, what a great combination. For me I''m suggesting Inter Milan for a home win against Genoa in Serie A.For City I will go for a Brady goal.Good luck all, and best wishes to Twidio and AJ (sounds like a kids cartoon or PJ and Duncan)
wooster 134 Posted December 3, 2015 Happy birthday Twidio & the best of luck to you and AJ.I don''t think I''ve got one draw this season but I going to continue and expect different results, despite Mr Einstein. So I think Wolfsburg will draw with Borussia Dortmund , currently 3/1.For the match bet, Norwich to win 2-1 at 11/1.
93vintage 16 Posted December 3, 2015 Norwich to win or draw (double chance) @ 4/5 or 7/10, both teams to score @ 4/5 or 8/11, over 1.5 goals @ 1/3 or 3/10, and over 2.5 goals @ 1/1. These are good bread and butter bets. For the accumulator Wolves away at second-from-bottom Rotherham looks good value @ 13/10. Rotherham have conceded 33 goals in 18 home games, ie nearly 2 per game, the highest in the division.
Mr Angry 1,512 Posted December 3, 2015 I''ll go for an Arsenal home win against Sunderland-no way will Fat Sam fluke anything out of this one!Not too confident for the Norwich bet but I think Robbie Brady will score at some point.Good luck Twidio and AJ and all other PUPs. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,204 Posted December 3, 2015 I had a delicious lamb Kofta at an airport the other day, really well made. Totally surprising.Quite understandably I am taking that as a clear sign that I should this week select:Gazientopspor vs Fenerbahce - away win 4/9As for our beloved Norwich bet, I can see us achieving a clean sheet this week. Bassong has things to prove, John Ruddy has things to prove, Wisdom and Benett are improving game after game. The signs are good.Buona Fortuna to Twidio and the excellent AJ..Parma 🍝💰💃🎼❤️🎶🎉😊💁💁🏆🏆🐾🎄🎄🎄
Molly Windley 76 Posted December 3, 2015 Evening all...............To the home of Vlad The Impaler and the Romanian League 1Pandurii ( home 7-2-1) vs Botosani (away 0-3-7) is a good value bet at around 7/10 for the home win.Good luck to all young and old alike.
