PaulineFowler 4 Posted December 9, 2015 Am I the only one who wants to smash the house up after using the official NCFC website?!Premier league team, non league website.
TIL 1010 5,297 Posted December 9, 2015 Not the easiest site to navigate around i will confess.
SwindonCanary 457 Posted December 9, 2015 I think they lost it from the moment they took down their message board, downhill from there.

lake district canary 4,875 Posted December 9, 2015 The old green and yellow site was excellent. As soon as they tried to modernise it a few yeas ago now, they ruined it and despite tweeks since then, it hasn''t really improved that much.
Hairy Kenneth 0 Posted December 9, 2015 I don''t know why they don''t have a decent mobile app. I follow the Houston Texans in the NFL and the app is brilliant-really easy to navigate to anything you need. The old official Norwich app just use to redirect you to a website for most things-I don''t think they even have an official app any more.
Robornio 131 Posted December 9, 2015 Completely agree with most of the above. I used to use the message board a lot until it got closed down (due to it apparently becoming increasing libellous and the club not being able to man it full-time) which effectively took away any engagement with the official website. Doing this meant that fewer people had active reasons to visit the site and was a strategic oversight by the NCFC marketing team. As for the current state or design of the site, it is a jumbled mess of adverts and a limited customer journey - what do viewers want to read, what do you want them to do etc? This site is more frequently used as we all enjoy venting our thoughts on the message boards and seeing what other peoples reactions are. A common human intrigue (eg Twitter or Gogglebox). Prince of Darkness 0 Posted December 9, 2015 The site was much better under the Lambert era
Katie Borkins 1 Posted December 9, 2015 Looks like someone built it in their allotment shed using Christmas club money.
Making Plans 957 Posted December 9, 2015 Only ever used it for buying tickets. Completely useless for everything else & Canaries World, or whatever it''s been revamped as, is even worse & a total waste of money. What with that, Radio Norfolk, Canary Call and The Pink ''Un website, is it any wonder we are seen as out of place in the PL and have difficulty in attracting decent players. mrs miggins 0 Posted December 9, 2015 Yes, it''s terrible. To be fair to Mcnally he did admit that it was $hit.....though does sort of beg the question; ''well change it then.''
PaulineFowler 4 Posted December 10, 2015 Exactly Mrs Miggins. How much would a proper website cost with all the trimmings? £20-£30k?Peanuts compared to what they have in the bank

Matt Juler 215 Posted December 10, 2015 Norwich, like many other clubs, are tied into a long running deal with what I believe use to be known as Premier TV, but is now FL Interactive Limited (FLi). If you look at the current 92 clubs, I''d imagine at least 75% of these would have a near identical website to ours, it''s only the established Premier Leagues clubs from the turn of the century that have their own website template. It''s not uncommon for the website to run stories not at all related to NCFC, as I believe the content management is performed by FLi and the work experience boy gets confused.I believe Norwich plan to move away to their own website, but until the contract with FLi expires, this isn''t going to happen.
