Cameron Jerome

Thought he had quite a good game and was unlucky not to score against Everton. But he has to get his hands off his hips all the time. There were many situations when he was off guard and could have got the ball had he been on alert. Can''t put your hands on the hips!

I hope he doesn''t bring his knees in tight and do a pelvic thrust - they really drive you insane

Was not awful, but hos reputation of "closing down" and "chasing lost caused" seems to be a bit of the mark. Takes too many breaks on the pitch, and is on his heels far to often. When Redmond won a header in the 2.half, Jerome would have been clean through if he trusted Tedmond to win it, and give himself a head start. But ge did not. Also other episodes were he was "not alert".

Decent game, but that miss will haunt him for a while. Can''t believe Mbokani was not coming on after 70-75 mins with Everton looking tired and clearly settling for the draw.

We owe him big time, without his goals we would not be in the PL.

Having said that he has NEVER performed in the PL.

A good Championship player, but we need far better.

Strange.Still, the substitution at half time worked well, so we should cut AN some slack for that.

Well, not really - wasn''t the h/t sub enforced due to a knock?

Subs were only made due to injury .

Bennet being left out until then , and not bringing on mbokani for a cream crackered Jerome with 15 mins to go , yet again showed the weaknesses of AN .

What on earth was he thinking dropping Ryan Bennet for Russell Martin in the first place ? Even MOTD were asking why was Bennet not on in the first half , seeing how he nullified Lukaku in the second.

Not sure what Mbokani''s doing wrong in training?Perhaps Alex has a superstition against players who''s names begin with an ''M''?  At a push and through a massive mental struggle he can just about cope with having one ''M'' player (Martin) starting a game.  I think this is proven by the fact that Mulumbu & Mbokani didn''t come on as subs and this was because Martin stayed on for the full game.

Pretty sure Alex is reluctant to play with 2 strikers towards the end of a game after the Newcastle shambles. He''s been allot more calculated with his risks since.
