Just watching Whitehawk v Dagenham & Redbridge FA Cup replay (on a very good stream)Jamie (now 40 years old) is doing ok  & it''s 1-1 at half timeScored his 1st goal for City 20 years ago this month (10th Dec 1995) in a 3-0 win over Chelsea

Goes to show if you love the game,work hard and keep fit you can play on and on and on

He has a record for us of 22 goals in 98 games - hardly a great return but will always be a legend for his commitment to the club and THAT hair.

His return with us in ''07 was obviously a difficult period in a poor team.

He''s not got a bad record overall, 50 goals in 108 games for Reading and 23 in 44 for Colchester. Even in the last few years 21 in 40 for Exeter and 23 in 64 for Dagenham.

As others have said, a testament to football though, if you enjoy it and work hard you can still play at a high level even at that kind of age

Also just seen he''s actually the oldest player in the top 4 divisions apparently.
