nutty nigel 7,902 Posted December 22, 2015 Welcome to week twenty one of our Rays Funds season. I’m a day early to give everyone a chance to get their selections in before Christmas. This week we have Herman in charge of the six games and making those selections. Herman’s a really consistent PUP who is always near the top of our league. Last season Herman finished with 79%. This season he’s doing even better with 84% correct selections. I am always very grateful for Herman’s support on the thread while the games are being played. His PUP power has got us through on quite a few occasions. One of my favourite posters too, especially on the match thread where his dry comments always bring a smile. It’s up to you Herman when you want the selections in by this weekend. I can pick them up anytime before Saturday morning. Herman will need your best selections from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites. Obviously that includes two rounds of fixtures so please be careful to make sure they are listed as obviously the selections will be made and put on before the first round of games on Boxing Day. Graham Humphrey is making the Norwich selections for the game at Tottenham on Boxing Day. Graham is going to select on Christmas Eve. Graham is one of our original PUPs who has stuck with us from the very start. He’s a top picker who has already won with the six games so is looking for a signature double with the match bets this week. He’s also regular at all our social gatherings and I enjoyed his company at the U21 game last night. Graham, you have a tenner to spend however you please from the PUPs selections and your own. The January rotas are just about all confirmed now. I’m just waiting on Legend Iwan for the Norwich bet January 16th. I hope you PUPs have a wonderful Christmas. Have fun and stay safe. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Herman and Graham Humphrey. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Stefan and Graham ... the thread is yours.......[:)].......... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,4, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,3, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £1198 for the Community Sports Foundation. Duncan Edwards 2,424 Posted December 22, 2015 Bournemouth vs PALACE - Away Win.I still reckon Bournemouth probably aren''t very good and despite their recent good form/fortune I fancy Palace can turn them over much like they did us. At 2/1 I think it''s a decent punt. For Norwich...1-1. Good luck everyone.

Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,462 Posted December 22, 2015 My uncle lives in Oman. He hasn''t given me any kind of tip because he''s reclusive. He''s taught me a lot. Mostly about what not to do.He won''t be celebrating Christmas really, but I will:Al Oruba vs Muscat - Home win allah''akhbar...Muscat nice, though prefer a nice Sauternes or some rather delicious Elysium (bought a bottle yesterday...will drink with some cheese and a rather fine elderflower jelly shipped over from la bell''Italia...In bocca al lupo Herman...fai il bravo, ci serve no?..Parma 🎄🎄😍😍😘😊😊🙅🙅🎉🎉💁💁🍝🍝🐾🏆🏆😻🇮🇹⛳️
Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,462 Posted December 22, 2015 For the Norwich bet I''m going to listen to my dad, who assured that spurs are always shit at Christmas and have a long-standing drinking culture...they always lose on Boxing Day apparently...Based on nothing more than love and trust in my father, I''m going for a 2-1 win to Norwich....Parma 🎼🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹💰💰💰🐕🐕👏😘😘😘😘😊💁🎄🙅🙅

AJ 1,359 Posted December 23, 2015 Hi all, and a Merry Christmas to everyone on of you especially Nutty for keeping this great thing going and not even that but growing too.My pick this week is a trip to league one and a regional derby between bottom Colchester, who are shipping goals and sinking like the titanic, and Southend who have got themselves up to 7th just outside the playoff places. Southend have struggled to score goals this season, but have scored 9 goals in their past 3 games and I would imagine they''ll be up for adding to that tally against struggling Colchester who have lost their last 7 in a row. Whilst this isn''t a dead cert it has brilliant odds of 2.4 so would help boost the profit.Good luck Herman! Now Graham, I shall do my best to be a helpful cause to make you a double winner with our match bet. A score draw is looking quite nice at 5.5I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and as always, good luck everyone!
Feedthewolf 5,885 Posted December 23, 2015 Picking an away team on Boxing Day is bold-bordering-on-stupid, but I was so impressed with Arsenal against Citeh on Monday, I would back them to dispose of a stuttering Southampton quite comfortably. Given the form differential, offering odds against seems exceeding generous in this season of goodwill.Southampton v ARSENAL – away win (circa 21/20).Good luck Herman, massively tough week! For the Norwich game, I just don''t see a no-show after the United game. We''re 6/1 to win the match, which I think is terrific odds. I''d pile on that. If you''re feeling adventurous, any scorecasts involving Hoolahan or Brady and 2-1, 3-1 or 3-2 wins would give huge returns for a tiddly stake...
Mr Apples 1,407 Posted December 23, 2015 I''ll be festive and go to Turkey for Fenerbahçe vs. Sivasspor (home win) on Monday. For the City bet I''ll go for Ryan Bennett to score anytime. Season''s greetings and best wishes to one and all! Apples

wooster 134 Posted December 24, 2015 Good luck everyone and a happy Christmas.I don''t think I''ve picked a draw all season but I''m fairly confident Villa v West ham (at 21/10) will happen. (I think a 0-0 at 15/2 is possible but don''t want to push my luck.)For the Norwich game I hope Parma is right but, so as not to jinx it, I''m going for a score draw (at 9/2).
