Only one striker on the bench. Does that mean Grabban and lafferty are gone or on their way

good attacking lineup. i''m liking that!we look better defensively without Olsson who i''d actually like to see played on the wing instead.

It probably just confirms what we all Know, Jerome and Dave are first two strikers to play 1 up, they both are also first choice if we need to go 2 up. If one gets injured and we need to go 2 up then 2nd front man will be Brady or Redders, both better all round than Grabban and Laffs ( though i cant fault Laffs, he''s done everything thats been asked, he just hasnt been asked to do that much )

Mane turned up for training in Man utd training Gear yesterday, singing Glory , Glory Man utd, and carrying a scrpt for a guest appearance on Corrie.

Koeman was not amused.

Just noticed that Mr Jenkins.

A good swap imo, adds a bit more stability in the middle

Happy New Year everyone.

What a poor quality game so far. If either side were facing a top side they would be 3 down by now.

We can''t afford to be so profligate.

Couple of concerns at this stage:

Can''t see who our best player is - no-one standing out.

We are giving the ball away a lot in the middle of the park.

Shane Long is winning a lot of balls against our central defenders.

Positive point - we have created a couple of good chances.

Sunderland take the lead against Aston Villa. Boo!

Need at least a draw from Villa today if not a win!

I''ll take 0-0 at half-time with the chance for Alex to wake the players up.

This is a winnable game for sure and a win would be huge for us being back to back and capping a fine Christmas period.

How Mbokani hasn''t scored is beyond me. I''d prefer Jerome.

If Southampton score first I can''t see us getting anything.

This is a big half coming up in the context of the season.

Redmond looks capable of something today.

Our final ball has been poor today but we are in the game so fingers crossed. What we wouldn''t give for a Dean Ashton type player,it doesn''t seem to matter which forward we play they just don''t cut the mustard.

Redmond looks capable of something today.[/quote]He needs to wake his ideas up - far to casual & sloppy and simple passes keep going stray

Could be 3-3. Our passing improved compared to the Villa game. Great to see Declan gaining confidence. Mbokani should have taken at least one of his chances. We should take three points, we can do it.

"GOAL - West Brom 1-0 Norwich

Stephane Sessegnon (60 mins)"

Thanks, BBC, for giving me that sinking feeling - however temporary!
