Gref. 15 points was your prediction for the first 19. So how many did you see us getting in the second 19 when you made that prediction?

Really? That''s convenient.

I''ll go with your original 23? for the last 19 giving us 43 points after 38. Sounds about right to me. Well done Gref and happy new year[Y]

I said before season started  City for 33 points and will not change halfway thru the season, so relegated for me, along with Villa and the Swans.Having said that im thinking of the positives...Alex has now had 19 games of Prem, experience, hes learnt a lot no doubt. Also we start the 2nd half with Declan in goal, and Martin at RB, and no sign of Whitts. Ryan Bennett has done well at CB. Think much will depend on how Mbokani plays upfront, also how many injuries / suspensions we get. Even if relegated, i would stick with Alex, hes had a  super year at City and deserves  a long run as our manager,,,saying that he ll probably get poached by a bigger club. Finally, yea this window...which ding! just opened, could be vital, but im just expecting a re run of the summer window
I think we will end up with enough points to stay up (just), it could come down to us not conceding as many goals at set pieces as say Bournemouth, who need to perhaps not run around so much and concentrate more at corners and free kicks......
Better to revert to a Jan Molvy style passing game, inside the center circle? Why move, when everyone else are moving instead?

Ya lol, was probably expecting 17 from 1st part of season and 16 from 2nd part, but the win at Man. U was the one that gave City 20,  but im sticking with 33 points so...13 it is >.>

Grefstad - On the basis that you have used Bournemouth as the "yardstick" to criticise Norwich City, Alex Neil and his tactics/training methods I thought it pertinent to mention that after 19 games they have a very similar record to us, but are below us in the table as they have conceded two more goals than us (both teams have scored the same amount of goals). Statistically, Bournemouth have conceded more goals from set pieces than any other Premiership team,

You are fond of quoting statistics to back up your criticisms of Norwich City/Alex Neil, but you never did respond to my question as to how our stats compare with Aston Villa.

For me there is only one set of stats I am interested in, they are tangible and easy to compare against other teams and that is the league table at any given point.

I am not against having a moan now and then but you seem to find it hard to be positive about Norwich City at all, I find that a very strange approach

Hope you and your family have a very happy and healthy 2016, OTBC!!................

IF the rest of your predictions come true, we now only need 6 points from an available 27 away. Now, having picked up 8 points from an available 30 in away fixtures, including playing at spurs, united, city, liverpool, and chelsea.

one doesn''t need to know ''anything about football outside of Norfolk or the premier league'' to know that this doesn''t seem like such a grueling task.

As happy as anyone with the win. I was at Arsenal and moaned on Newcastle. Seemed to help, as they lost 1-0. Our wins are well and good, but we always depend on what other teams do or not do. If Newcastle had won away at Arsenal, our margin to the drop zone would not been as healthy as 6 points.

Great result, but my 38point total prediction still stands.

If we lose at Stoke and Bournemouth, things can be looking more gloomy again.

Also, you based your 38 point prediction on results.

We have more points than you predicted after the first game, because you were wrong.

Are you now admitting you''re going to be wrong YET again?

Points predictions for a season is a marathon, not a sprint.

23 p after 20 games is good, better than I expected by this stage, but I don''t expect us to get more than around 38p in total. If we do, I am happy with that as it will likely guarantee survival.

To make my prediction, we only need 5 wins from the next 18 games, which should be achievable.
