Jackson back with Lambert

Recommended Posts

Is he trying to build NCFC Mark II

Blackburn Rovers have

completed the signing of Simeon Jackson,

following a successful trial.

The 28-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a short-term deal

at Ewood Park until the end of the 2015/16 season.

The move sees Jackson reunited with manager Paul Lambert

after the pair enjoyed a successful spell together at Norwich City.

"It feels great to be here," Jackson told Rovers PlayerHD. "It

has been a good two weeks coming in and getting a feel for the club, so I''m

delighted to finally put pen-to-paper now.”

Will always love Simeon Jackson for his Derby hattrick

One of the best moments ever as a city fan

"The place is going bananas!"

Fair play to him and lambert

Lambert likes to bring in players he''s worked with before. Did it here with Fox, Tierney and Martin etc.  Makes sense if you''re working with a limited budget - you know what you''re getting.

He''s a decent Championship striker, makes sense on both sides.  Will never forget that goal against Derby in injury time - I was about 30 yards away in the lower Barclay and it has to be the noisiest the stadium has ever been.

Thought he was older than 28.

He gave us some great moments and will do well for Lambert.

Good luck to them both, both City legends in their own way.

Lambert is in the right sort of job now, watch him fly.
I think you mean he was a decent championship striker
I guess if you''re being ultra-pedantic, what I meant was that he performed to a decent level in the Championship when he was with us, but didn''t make the step up to the Prem.   I''ve no idea what standard he''s now playing at given that he''s been playing at a lower level since he left us.

Vanwick said '' Lambert is in the right sort of job now, watch him fly ''.

Lol with due respect to what Lambert did here they have not won in 5 losing 3 of those ( including Bolton ) and in those games they have managed a mere 1 goal. They are dive bombing towards the bottom 3 and their goalscorers have suddenly stopped scoring. This seems to mirror his time at Villa

That was the best CR atmosphere for a long time. Absolutely mental celebrations, the whole stadium was going nuts. Even a few in the river end raised a thermos cup in salute.
