Clubs that you shouldn't really hate as much as you do

Recommended Posts

Everton & Villa, both have really shite fans, never felt welcome, Spurs and Reading are my other two really disliked teams.

I don''t really retain any long term hatred for anyone but the scum. I''m no fan of Liverpool though, Everton I''ll never forgive for the 1985 thing. Wolves have terrible fans and deserve everything they get. Leeds are just an awful club and the whole champions of Europe thing is wholly ridiculous. What have I started....

The clubs that really grate on me though are the ones that our own supporters get jealous of.

There have been loads over the years, Swansea, Southampton, Charlton, Fulham, West Brom and even Ipswich when the Evans/Keane/waving tenners thing occurred.

I end up wishing ill on those clubs because I don''t understand how anyone can be a supporter of this fantastic club yet pine for what others have.

We are Norwich. That means more to me than divisional status or anything else, I will brag because I''m a city fan and I think they''re the greatest club in the world.

Little Norwich? Some might label it so. I''m proud of where we have been, where we have come from, where we are now and more importantly, our identity as a PROPER football club.

Oh, and Forest...you aren''t rivals with Liverpool or Man U anymore, get over it!!!

"No. I bloody hate them". That''s happened a few times already this season.

Agree with morty, Chelsea and all the big spenders ruining the game man utd and city are a joke spend more if you don''t win the league is their policy, arsenal, are another.

But there should be a ceiling on how much can be spent per club .

The weirdest thing about Millwall is that I''ve never felt so safe on an away day. You literally don''t see a Millwall fan at all because of the policing - it must cost them hundreds of thousands a year.

You also didn''t see many of them in the ground either last year but that''s another story!

Schalke 04, in 1983 i went to watch them play Southampton in a pre season friendly with four Army Colleagues, halfway thro the 1st half we were surrounded by Shalke thugs demanding first cigarettes, then more menacingly, money. We toughed it out and made our way over to the Southampton fans for safety....it was getting a bit heavy, CS gas, dogs etc. Fortunately the game finished without any more hassle but when we returned to our car, which was helpfully marked with British Forces Germany number plates we found that both headlights and taillights had been kicked in...nice touch. The 100 km drive back to base in fading light was interesting to say the least. The German Cops were very understanding and basically told us to drive on out of the area. Not a nice evening.

Arsenal after the 4-3 loss in 89. Its a Day I will never forget, Norwich leading 2-0 and crusing George Tyson was the referee and we moan about refs today it was the worst refereeing display I have ever seen, I dont recall him ever being allowed to referee a game since that day. 21 players fighting and all throughout the game us Norwich fans were told we would receive an police escort from the ground back to our coaches did we....did we hell they escorted us towards the Highbury tube station and then just decided to abandon us. I cant stand Arsenal, although I must say The Emirates is I beleieve the best stadium in the country at present.

Following football for 40 years or so you pick up a lot of irrational pettiness so here''s mine:

Arsenal (so arrogant and patronising to everyone else)

Ipswich (obviously)

West Ham (media love-in)

Everton (85 + Mike Walker)

Middlesbrough (think they''re big but fickle fans who melt away)

Chelsea (just a nasty set of fans and an unpleasant outfit all round)

Villa (Lambert, deluded fans)

Leeds (see Chelsea)

Wolves (plethora of reasons, but mainly horrible supporters)

Palace (never a nice day out at Selhurst)

There''s loads more I don''t particularly like, but strangely I don''t mind Man Utd or Liverpool and I have an odd soft spot for Rotherham.

Scum obviously.QPR because after a draw at Loftus Road the little barstewards kept stopping the tube by stopping the doors closing, until we had enough, and chucked the little sh*ts off, face down onto the platforms, otherwise I think we''d still be there.

Wolves, for that thug Muscat and generally being a horrible team.

Leeds and Rangers - both failed, crooked little teams with horrible fans who can''t accept that it''s over for them.

MK Dons, shouldn''t even exist and will never be generally accepted as a legitimate club.

Port Vale, mostly because I just don''t see the point of them. You pretty much forget they even exist except for the 20 second their result pops up on the vidi-printer.

If this has anything to do with the pending appointment of Lambert then please seek help immediately. You have issues. If not then I apologise and retract this post.

Man Utd on how they claim that teams in recent years have bought the league, but they spend ridiculous amounts of money (certainly since 2008) and got near enough nowhere since SAF left in 2013.In a nutshell, they have always blindly defended their players: - Rio disappearing during his drugs test in 2003(ish)- Cantona''s assault on a supporter- Roy Keane hospitalizing and ending another players career in 2001, but then when Ashley Williams clears a ball near van Persie''s head in 2013 "He could of killed him".- SAF accusing players like Henry, Suarez, Luiz , Shelvey. etc for diving but then standing up for players infamous for it such as Stam, C.Ronaldo, Ashley Young etc.- defending Evra regarding the Suarez incident (despite Man Utd players doing the same thing to Patrick Vierra in the 90s)- The whole Giggs/Thomas scandal - Chatting shit about ex-layers who are now "bad-mouthing" (being honest) about their former club e.g. Beckham, Keane, Scholes - and the way they players and staff treated the referee under SAF.I think ive covered most stuff in the 5 minutes of writing this. [:)]To conclude, lets have a recap: how much did they spend pre-season? Getting on for a quarter of a billion and they haven''t won a trophy in 2 and a half years now.
