Quite simply we were dreadful. 90% of the time we''re hoofing it into Chelsea''s half and seeing them come straight back at us.

All the work undone. It was coming I suppose, you can only soak up that kind of pressure for so long. As long as the GD is in tact after these run of games I''ll still be happy.

Is this dreadful rubbish any better than what we saw under Hughton?  Fasten your seatbelts, we''re headed back to the championship.
Bassong has had a worse game than Bennett
have a look at the stats at the number of mistakes made per game....Russell Martin isn''t the problem in the defence... Bassong gives the ball away more, as was pointed out in the Swansea stream

Unlucky City, no disgrace. Very tough game and sadly the better team won. Ho-hum. On to the next game.

Ballcocks

A couple of Chelsea players celebrating like they''ve just won a trophy.

Stand by for Mr Smug to proclaim there was never any panic, and trying to dominate the media and trying to act as cool as an ice cube.

Same old "nearly" story, but I still think we have enough quality and a good manager to stay up. We would never have expected to get anything away at Chelsea at the start of the season so just got to take it on the cheek and move on. We do need to start picking up at least some points away from home though...

More positives than negatives. Despite losing we are much better defensively. Chelsea played brilliant football and could only score once
