Clint 221 Posted October 25, 2015 I thought we could''ve easily switched to 3 at the back yesterday when Lambert came on. WBA were offering very little going forward and were just out to defend their lead. When Rondon went off they had no pace to counter attack as Berahino was playing so deep so why did we still need 4 at the back? Hoolahan wasn''t having a great match but I''d have thought we''d have more chance of scoring with him on the pitch. I think this is the sort of thing Neil would''ve done last season but now seems too scared of losing.Jerome for Hoolahan was a little too predictable. iron_stan 0 Posted October 25, 2015 im guessing after he made the wrong decision to change it against newcastle with the tettey/hoolahan sub he was probably frightened to do it again
Katie Borkins 1 Posted October 25, 2015 Our primary weakness is defence. Taking off a centre back would have seen Pulis push Berahino forwards with predictable results in a one on one with either Bennett or Bassong.
