The ghost of Michael Theoklitos 0 Posted September 3, 2015 Some of the rants on here remind me of the reactions a few months back when a young and inexperienced Scot was installed as manager. You''d have thought that people would know by now that they should wait and see what happens before they get all emotive and ranty. It's Character Forming 1,156 Posted September 3, 2015 When AN was appointed, the general reaction was that it was a gamble because he was an unknown quantity but most posters reserved judgement because of knowing little about him.I think it''s fair to express concerns about what has happened now (rather than waiting and having the benefit of hindsight - we''re all able to spot mistakes down the line when they''re painfully obvious). For me the transfer window, as a whole, has been poorly handled in quite a few respects that have been well talked over, and we are left at the end of it with a weakness in the CB position which it was painfully obvious needed to be addressed, but hasn''t been dealt with, despite us clearly having the money to get in a decent CB if we''d made it a priority. So we''re taking an unnecessary gamble with staying up. The window''s closed and now we just have to get on with it - a shame there''s a gap before the football restarts because until then we won''t be able to move on properly.
