Alex Neil has to take some of blame for transfer debacle

Recommended Posts

Why the dearth of new signings of quality?

Maybe there is no money but what about offers rumoured for Ofobe.

Perhaps Alex Neil either didn''t know or just failed to make his player requirements clear or maybe our new scouting group just isn''t effective.

Whatever the reason Alex Neil left us with major disappointment regarding transfers when he was appointed he should have got guarantees money would be available to strengthen. Promotion was a possibility.

We don''t know he wasn''t given guarantees but given the penny pinching attitude of our Board in continually making derisory offers. It seems they have taken advantage of AN''s inexperience.

He will have learned for his next job.

Don''t think you''ll find that AN didn''t make his requirements clear, we just failed to deliver on them.

We have done this a bit to death now though Pete

Getting fed up now of people running down our club/players/manager. There was no debacle, just the difficulties all clubs face, depending on their financial circumstances. We are stronger than we were before the window - that is all that matters.    Money spent, money come in, players merry go round in all clubs

affecting things, no-one wanting to let go a good player unless they get

another target in - and it''s like house buying, if one link in the

chain fails, the whole chain grinds to a halt - and in the case of the

transfer window, time runs out.  So it''s often largely out of the

control of individual clubs.

Have we lost any major players? No apart from Johnson, but there is a strong argument to say he would not have got much game time this year - and he''s gone back to a division where he can flourish.

In - Mbokani, Mulumbu, Dorrans, Brady, Wisdom, Jarvis.  Four out of the six probable starters when fit and assimilated, maybe even all six.  Did people expect a whole new team??

No, he doesn''t

I''ve heard the little pathetic rumblings of the "I was the first to say neil wasn''t up to it" brigade creaking into life like a rusty machine.

These people are totally irrelevant. Not only as "fans" of Norwich, but just as people.

Alex Neil is doing an excellent job and if you can''t see that it''s ime to go full time FIFA and leave the real football to us that aren''t conpletelt stupid.

Oh God this is getting tiresome.

What debacle? Six new players in and most of them will be regular starters. We are one CB signing short of a decent window. That does not constitute a debacle nor does it justify the level of vitriol you keep spouting.
