Nuff Said 4,952 Posted September 3, 2015 Where is it? Is there any doubt it will happen? And when?
Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 998 Posted September 3, 2015 You have got to assume the club would have made sure there were no issues obtaining a work permit on the basis they have been after Mbokani all summer.......
lharman7 39 Posted September 3, 2015 He''s played the required amount of time in Europe to qualify for EU permit. Thats why you''ve heard nothing about a work permit.
Peanuts 150 Posted September 3, 2015 I thought his wife was an EU citizen? If so then he should be fine.
ron obvious 1,474 Posted September 3, 2015 Just allowed myself a sneaky peek at his 2013-14 goals ...Yup, OK, it''s youtube, but looked promising! Seemed to score a lot despite having plenty of defenders around.I particularly liked one where he shaped to shoot, throwing the whole defence off & opening up the space. Similar to Pugh''s (Bournemouth) goal v West Ham.
Feedthewolf 4,795 Posted September 7, 2015 Anyone know how long the work permit might take to be granted? Is he likely to be available for Saturday?
AJ 1,218 Posted September 7, 2015 Work permits are usually sorted relatively quickly these days, I''d be very surprised if it isn''t already sorted and imagine he''ll be in the squad for the next game. I would have thought we wouldn''t have announced the deal if there was a possibility it would have problems, it''s unlikely they''ll state he''s been granted one
JF 694 Posted September 9, 2015 Just watched his YouTube vid and he looks a handful. Been told he is incredibly strong but doesn''t speak a word of English!
AJ 1,218 Posted September 9, 2015 He must have learnt his English pretty sharpish for hours first interview the night the transfer was announced then!!!

Making Plans 929 Posted September 9, 2015 It might well have been granted already but the new "PR policy" at Carrow Road of saying absolutely nothing about anything means that we probably won''t know until the team is announced at 2pm on Saturday.

Feedthewolf 4,795 Posted September 11, 2015 Alex Neil: "Dieumerci Mbokani is a bit short of match fitness, but he''s certainly in contention for the squad tomorrow." (from BBC Sport news ticker)That''s the work permit issue sorted, then!

Branston Pickle 3,604 Posted September 12, 2015 I''m pretty sure I read on the main site (or poss BBC) shortly after we signed him that it was pending a work permit, but it was either wrong or quickly sorted!
