Bad luck Jellytot, I know how frustrating it is when you are desperate to get your name on the list cause I am too but you did your best and that''s all you can do

Well done Molly

Unlucky! Always painful when you get so close - I''ve been one away twice now. But at least 3 home points can cheer us all up

Really unlucky Jellytot, nobody could have known that Juve planned to rest half their first team for the Champions League game midweek and that their pitch looked more suitable for rugby than football.

Good spots Molly. I always think these CL games can make it doubly hard to pick teams early season. But I would have thought Juve would have targeted the league game as they are yet to win.

It was unlucky and that''s why when lady luck is with us the resulting win belongs to us all.

4/6 to win either half was a terrific spot Molly. I''ll update Rays signature and the totals first chance I get.

For those with long memories it was probably worse than the penalty Leeds got when Tony Yeboah decided to fall over that consigned us to relegation in 1995.

I saw that Purple. That''s one of the reasons I''malways more confident of a late "saving of our bacon" when one of thebig clubs is involved. I think thats what I meant yesterday at h/t when Jellytot was worried with Bayern losing and I said the big clubs usually find a way to win...

Gutted for you Helen. I was shellshocked when I arrived home to check the result and seen the Old Lady had let us down. However, it was great to see you and everyone else in The Nelson after the game where we had a bit of fun with Tilly and presented well deserved awards to Lappinitup and Twidio. For those who didn''t make it the awards for Tilly and Lapp were for coming first in the Pups league and Profitability league respectively and Twidio was presented a Special Award for being the youngest ever successful picker of the Final Six.Leedscanary

Also for those who weren''t there Leeds Canary once again provided the trophies for us. Kev, you''re an absolute diamond buddy, and you epitomise everything that Ray envisaged when he started this community.

Hope this picture comes out ok. I have trouble transferring pictures from Facebook onto this forum : -

Twidio and Lapp had no idea they were receiving trophies and it was great to see their smiles. Sorry I can''t tell you all about Tilly''s speech. I had my headphoines in listening to the speaking clock at the time....

The fault with the photo is put right if you press reply and look at the preview. I''m not sure what the problem is with photos but I''ll try and get it sorted for Wednesday.

I''m still gutted for Jellytot. But it was a good weekend for the stats. 54 PUPs picked with 46 (85%) winning. Between us we suggested 31 outcomes from which 24 (77%) won. Jellytot''s 5/6 was 83% and it was pure bad luck that the fancied Juve stopped her. That''s the second week after Parma''s unlucky 5/6 the week before. We will be winning again soon when lady luck is kinder to us.

Clare got "pick of the week" this time for her selection of Brighton at 1.55. There are now just three PUPs with perfect records remaining with Yankee leading the way. Here''s the league table showing those with at least 50% correct from at least half the available weeks : -
