No way was Nige going to buy any dodgy Eastern European, or a Namby-Pamby Italian, or a Whinging Lazy Frenchie, or God Forbid some Money-grabbing, Disco-Dancing South American who would fall over a lot. No! Scandinavia was the place to find lantern-jawed, muscle-bound players with naff blonde hairdos and a willingness to run around all day every day.Sorry Nigel, for every Solskjaer and Ljunberg there is also an Ottosson - and guess which end of the spectrum we ended up with?!
