lake district canary 4,520 Posted September 22, 2015 Loved the chant on Sunday. I will sometimes criticise fans if they are too negative, but this was a brilliant thing to chant to get into the Liverpool players and their fans'' heads. Is this an original chant from our fans, or is it something they have picked up from other teams fans who go to Liverdrool? Whatever, it was excellent. It's Character Forming 1,156 Posted September 22, 2015 Brilliant and it would have hit home simply because it was so true. It''s a chant we''ve used before, after a high profile striker departure, struggling to remember who though. It is always a bit of a hostage to fortune though if started too early in the game, the replacement can always come good, but not here thankfully ! Joller 0 Posted September 22, 2015 Bournemouth fans sang "Lewis Grabban he would have scored that" when we missed an opportunity against them a few weeks ago. the genius bit was when we sang exactly the same chant back when they immediately missed an opportunity at the other end. It's Character Forming 1,156 Posted September 22, 2015 That''s funny. Although TBH much as I like Grabban as a striker, you''d have to accept he''s not exactly a nailed on finisher...

jb 0 Posted September 22, 2015 First heard it at carrow road a few seasons ago when olivier giroud missed a sitter for arsenal... "robin van persie, he would have scored that". The frenchman got the proper hump about it as well, i seem to remember him grabbing his crotch in the general direction of the barclay in response. Happy days.
