There are undercurrents OR.

Some are now actively advocating the removal of Mick McCarthy.

Noticeable that the penny is beginning to drop.

The on line poll which once had almost 40% predicting a top two place for them this season now shows less than 30%.

A 15th. season in the Chumps looms it would seem. Are they heading for a record achievement of mediocrity and a trophy to match?

Is there room in that crowded (x3) trophy cabinet of theirs?

Will they be able to find the key after all this time?

1p5wich are in talks with the BBC, who want to do an antiques roadshow live from their Trophy room, apparently the cabinet could attract a bit of interest and may even help repay some of the local traders who are still owed money by the club, they are frantically looking for a french polisher to revive its appearance and see if can free up the lock.

Good luck to them.

They will need to be quick as Time Team are rumoured to be doing a special from there. The programme will attempt will be to see if the trophy cabinet can once again be opened. An expert from the UEA archaeology dept will be on hand to try and identify the various beakers. With an expert in hieroglyphics from the British Museum to translate the yellowing paper cuttings. It is thought that the chap who oils the thousands of empty seats will be called upon to help with the opening of this long closed, ancient monument. It is also hoped that there may still be someone who was alive at the time this monument was last used.

I had to have a look after reading that and came across a thread about the best players they have faced in all of their playoff games.

Redmond was brought up, followed by this response:

"Redmond only did anything after Berra was sent off and he had acres of space to play about in."

I seem to remember him having a pretty big impact immediately before the card was show to Mr Berra. They really do live a blinkered life over there!

I think they would be mad to get rid of MM - he has done a good job with very limited resources. Who do they think they can get in who would do a better job?

They need a 7 year plan which is based on playing attractive football and making a profit - is there a club they could use as a role model?

They would have beat us if Berra hadn''t been unfairly sent off for blocking a wide shot with his chest remember?

They were slaughtering us before that and would have certainly been in the PL this year if it wasn''t for that huge turning point....

All football fans are deluded, but christ they really do take the pi55!
