Selection dilemma

Recommended Posts

So what happens when Ollsson is back fit, does he go straight in and move Brady up? Surely that means either Redmond or Wes will miss out, then there is Mulumbu, where can you play him. Going to be interesting.

AN got it spot on yesterday, it will be an interesting dilemma. We might see Wes ending up on the bench for some of the games against better teams.

Horses for courses...

The Premier League is a squad game. There will be games when we play two strikers, no Wesley, too many defensive mids, no pace or wide men - it''ll depend on the approach and the level or style of opposition.

Alex Neil knows what he''s doing...

You also have players that probably shouldn''t play every week due to dodgy knees - Tettey for example.

It''s a win win situation all round for the manager.  A winning team with every player playing well, with excellent players knocking on the door to be included.   It''s a dilemna all right, but it is a superb dilemna for the club - and us.  Competition for places and players playing with total focus means things should function at their best.

With the number of good midfielders we have this was always going to be the most interesting selection challenge for AN. Having been a mid field player himself I''m sure he will enjoy the abundance of riches he has at his disposal.

What''s happened to Vadis?

He was looking good pre season.
