Yellowfuture 71 Posted August 22, 2015 We are creating lots of chances, we have a man in our squad who was brought in as a finisher, is today the day for Ricky. This may be an unpopular view but IMO he has never really been given the sort of role in our team that he will thrive on, poacher goal scorer is what he has done best in the past, it''s all set up for him to succeed.I really hope he gets a chance today and takes it with both feet. birchfest 397 Posted August 22, 2015 The latest word from Neil has been that he''s been told to fight his way back into the first team, I think at best he might be on the bench... But more likely to see him start with Hooper at Rotherham I think. Don''t forget our 4 and 6 million strikers who will probably be on the bench..
Katie Borkins 1 Posted August 22, 2015 He doesn''t have the all round game for the Premier League. Even prolific goalscorers are expected to hold it up, pass it, track back and tackle. How would you fit him into the team? Who would you drop to bring him in? Who would you drop to bring him in.It''s a difficult choice, but it would be difficult bringing any new player in to a team that has had a really good start. I would give him a run and maybe let Howson drop to the bench.Ask Jerome to drop a little deeper and let Rick play off him.In Brady Wes and Redmond we have players who are getting good balls into dangerous areas, someone like Ricky could be just the guy we need to finish some of those chances. Newton 0 Posted August 22, 2015 If Wolf starts best we can hope for is 0 - 0We will have to be defensive as like playing with 10 menHave nightmares of Newcastle at home during last visit to PremWolf played for first 60 mins - touched the ball twice
grefstad 0 Posted August 22, 2015 I expect RvW to be on the bench today, on the expense of Hooper, due to Hooper being involved in transfer speculation. Also, AN needs to rotate his third striker, to keep them encouraged.I hope..
