Scottish favouritism has to stop now!

Recommended Posts

Obviously Whittaker, he was a headless chicken.

And dear old Russell Martin who couldn''t organise a p... you know the rest. What was he doing for the second goal, his usual, ball watching.

What was wisdom doing and he''s not scottish. He was at fault for both second and third goals however good he looked on the ball

Whits had a poor game today but he had done nothing wrong in previous games to justify being dropped. Wisdom hardly covered himself in glory when he came on either or didn''t you notice that (him not being Scottish not fit in with your theory?).

Wisdom will have a chance now so hopefully he''ll grab it

What has them being Scottish got to do with it? If you don''t think they are good enough then just say so. Their nationality has nothing to do with their ability. Currently they are the best we have in those two positions. Unless we can sign better I don''t see why they should be dropped. Whittaker had a mare but don''t forget how many games he has played well in this year. Russell Martin did plenty of organising too. He is always talking and directing players as a captain and centre back should be.

it was whittakers worst game for some time; it happens.

He has played ok so its hard t o criticise him too much (esp when most of the rest of the team were equally inept) but prem football does stretch him. Ideally we need better but that will have to wait until next summer, although Wisdom looked solid.

CB is the larger problem - ball watching, slow reaction, poor game craft. We have conceded soft goals through the middle every game and it needs solving. Fast

Hi Zipper,

Could you explain what you mean by "through the middle"? The vast majority of goals are conceded from within or just outside the penalty area but it doesn''t mean the ''error'' for the goal, if indeed there was one, was committed by the CB pairing. But this may not be what you mean, so could elucidate - thanks.
