Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 4

Recommended Posts
Thanks everyone for your picks, I will go as

below Man City - 15 picks, enough said. Celtic - Same principle, 4 picks.

Benfica - Opponents had a poor start to the season, Benfica should be too

strong, Grorud - Many a time I''ve had a lot of fun trying to find a source for

the latest score, PC''s offering fits the bill! Basel - A very strong start to

the season Dortmund - Likewise, currently scoring goals for fun. Best of luck

all. I''ll go along with the Grorud pick.
Thanks Trent. Looking good buddy as always. I''ll put these on when I get

back from U21s tonight.

I''m worried about Tilly. I think you PUPs have sent him a little bit

doollally with all this ribbing about his short odds last season. I hope he

hasn''t gone over the abyss to the dark side.......
Charlton to win or draw away at Wolves 19/20 @

Bet365
Charlton have been resilient on the road against Derby and

Forest, and have a good overall record after beating Hull at home last Saturday.

They keep the ball quite well and are very skilled at counterattacking with

pace, ie exactly the sort of team to give Wolves a headache.Wolves

appear to still be on a downer after narrowly missing out on last season''s

playoffs. Unlike Charlton who''ve looked pretty solid and defended well as a

unit, Wolves look shakey at the back. They''re very impressive offensively, but

hopefully our bid for Afobe will have turned his head enough to unsettle

him.Overall Charlton look good value, and despite their excellent start

are still very underrated by the bookies.
Man City -1 Norwich game

draw

First of all welcome Thisisbabyish and thanks for sticking with us

93vintage.

These two picks are very good selections but they place me in a bit of a

quandary. You see not all our PUPs understand these bets and so your suggestions

will be ignored half the time and I need you guys to be taken notice of. Some

PUPs have said that draworwin bets actually give the PUP double chance of a

winning week in our league. I know that it''s not as simple as that but I also

know that our methods have to unite all of our great team of PUPs.

This may seem crazy but these threads are not betting threads. Many of our

PUPs never bet. Some are too young to bet. At the very end of the picks a bet is

placed. But that''s placed as a result of football result selections by our PUPs.

So for our league and the six selections we need to keep it as simple as

Home/Away/Draw. I hope that makes sense to you two top PUPs who we need with us

all season.

Of course with the Norwich match bet anything that''s listed on the coupon

is good for a suggestion. It is then up to the PUP finalising those picks to

choose from the suggestions or his own.

93vintage, I never actually got this confirmed in my records. Are you ok to

finalise the Norwich match bets for the Liverpool game w/e 19/09?

Itsbabyish... Stick around buddy. I will try and get you a turn later in

the season.

Haven''t had much time to check fixtures this week, so going for a rather obvious and no doubt not very attractively priced Man City home win against Watford.

For the NCFC match bet, I think Southampton will start off slowly following their trip abroad but I fancy a draw so how about NC leading at HT, draw at FT.

Good luck to all PUPs but specially Trent and Wooster.

Nutty, thank you such a generous introduction and thanks to all the PuPs for their suggestions for the Norwich game.

My apologies for such a late submission but every road around the faithful city was a car park tonight and a simple round trip took 3 hours.

I''ve tried to reflect PuPs contributions although I have not been as bold as to predict whether scorers were of the first or last goal etc. Naming scorers (anytime) lowers the odds but hopefully increases the likelihood of a win.

There was support for a draw and slightly less for a Norwich win, but thankfully no-one suggested a Southampton win outright.

So my final suggestions are (with William Hill odds ):

£2 Jerome to score anytime (9/4)

£2 Redmond to score anytime (16/5)

£1 RVW to score anytime (not listed)

£2 Draw (9/4)

£2 Norwich win (14/5)

£1 Norwich to win 3-2 (40-1)

Thank you for all the help and I hope it''s a 3-2 Norwich win with scorers as above. The draw is a contingency.

Good Luck Trent with the match picks. My favourite is a Spurs-Everton draw at 9/4.
2/2 this afternoon with some banana skins avoided. Great start Trent.
Great start indeed. Especially with some dodgy results on the day.
Speaking of which, has anyone heard how Ipswich got on? [:''(]

Bejesus, Benfica, missed a great chance from a superb move, immediately after that they have hit the bar from a fingertip save and the follow up from the rebound off the bar hit a defender and went for a corner
Just seen the replay and the player was miles offside, still bad defending.
Not clear from your two posts, but if he got the ball straight from a throw-in then he can''t have been offside. But Benfica are now 3-2 up anyway.
