nutty nigel 7,531 Posted August 26, 2015 So here we go already with week four of our Rays Funds season. This weekwe have Trent Canary in charge and choosing the final six matches. Trent hasbeen with us from the start so this is his ninth consecutive season! And I forone am grateful for his support throughout all those years during which he’sbeen a PUPs champion and twice won with the final selections. Good as heundoubtedly is Trent will need all us PUPs to give him our best suggestionsfrom the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend and listed on Bill Hill orBet365 web sites. This week we have Wooster in charge and making the final selections for thematch bet. Wooster has been brilliant for us since he joined last season. Healways gives us a value option and has made many great suggestions to me behindthe scenes. He’s a top PUP and a top man. So let’s all help him with some greatsuggestions for our match at Southampton on Sunday. Wooster, it can anythingfrom one bet for a tenner to ten one pound bets made either from the PUPssuggestions or of your own. Don’t forget PUP Mandie is running the Norwich 10k for our charity theCSF. So if you’re looking for someone to sponsor in this event her page is here: - https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/mandiethorpe1 We are planning a PUPs meet and trophy presentation in the Nelson afterthe Bournemouth game on Sat 12/09. If you’re at this game please try and makeit to say hello. I’ll hand the thread over to Trentand Wooster now. Remember there’s no pressurebecause we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We allstand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community SportsFoundation. Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Tom and Laurence ... the threadis yours.......[:)]...... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always Ileave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :-Carve theirnames with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,4,Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3,Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,2, Cosmic Twin,3, Graham Humphrey,Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup,Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC,Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake DistrictCanary, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £1030 for the CommunitySports Foundation. Hissing Sid 154 Posted August 26, 2015 After a pretty rubbish first few weeks I''m heading for the Norwegian Tippeligaen where there is a bit of form to judge by. So it''s a Bottom v Top Sunday offering...Tromso (2nd bottom, 3-3-4 14-19 at home) v Rosenborg (Top, 8-0-2 28-10 away) - AWAY WinAnd for the match bet, how about Sir Alex to continue his unbeaten away record. HT/FT Draw/Draw looks decent at 9/2.Best of luck Trent, Wooster and all you PUPs.And see you on the 12th.

Katie Borkins 1 Posted August 26, 2015 Massive caveat that so far my picks have been cr*p. However, I would like CELTIC (p5 pts 13) to bounce back from their European disappointment this week by beating St Johnstone who are p5 pts 5.Good luck Pups.

Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted August 26, 2015 Good luck Trent and Wooster! My value pick this week is Inter to win away to newly promoted Carpi at around 8/11. Inter should have way too much quality for the minnows, who lost 5-2 against Sampdoria in their opening match. If you want a higher-risk pick to maximise winnings, this is my suggestion. As for the Norwich match, Grabban to score first... just kidding. I promise I haven''t been drinking, but I''m going for a crazy scorecast: Norwich win 3-2, Redmond to score the first goal. Odds are 300/1. Yeah I know, but just imagine... gonna have to put a quid on it myself now I''ve called it, just in case.

TIL 1010 4,738 Posted August 26, 2015 A very good evening to you Nutty and may i wish good luck to Trent and Wooster as well as you you other lovely PUPs out there with the odd exception and you know who you are. Mind you with Benfica at 1/6 what could go wrong. Now then it is with gritted teeth that i go for a HOME WIN for THE SCUM v Hootons Seagulls. 11/10 seems generous to me.For the Norwich bet i suggest a draw at H/T and F/T. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,219 Posted August 26, 2015 As for the Norwich bet, many is the time that teams facing controversy galvanise and create a unified siege against perceived invaders. It''s a good tactic and I suspect Alex Neil is in quite a natural domain employing it.I suspect that this may favour certain specific angles for the Norwich bet. I would certainly cover a Norwich clean sheet, Norwich to win a penalty and the opposition to have a man sent off. Wooster is a legendary picker of draws and an excellent, instinctive analyst who is fun to follow. His successes are often spectacular.Go for it. Let the force in you free Wooster.Parma

Molly Windley 76 Posted August 26, 2015 Looking for a good value bet this week so have gone down to League 2. Barnet look to have made a poor start with one win and 3 losses but they have been beaten by three of the teams in the top four and two of those were away from home , soBarnet vs Cambridge United = Barnet home win at 16/11For the City bet Im tempted to say under 2.5 goals but the odds are poor at 8/11 so would go for Southampton to lead at half time but not win at 10/1Good luck to Wooster and Trent
The Great Drinkell 50 Posted August 26, 2015 Its a week for a value bet and at better than 3/1 and with our recent away form combined with Southampton s european game i''m going for a Norwich away winAs for the match bet i''ll take RVW to score at any time as I think he may start on the bench this weekend.Good luck to the pickers. Mr Apples 1,320 Posted August 27, 2015 Hi PUPs, after my omnishambles selection last week I''m heading to Switzerland for FC Basel vs. FC Zürich (FC Basel home win) which reminds me of this great quote. [:D]"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock". For the City bet I''ll go for Southampton HT/Draw FT. Best wishes and good luck to one and all! Apples
