nothing changed

We are getting left behind again ,more names needed and we missed some good chances to sign quality players, but don''t want to splash the cash as a investment ,could catch up with us at the end of the season . Just hope the signings we have made come good .

Try checking Marcus Evans'' pockets.

When we have an injury free line up Bournemouth 5 of the starting 11 will have been purchased in the transfer window. Dorrans, Mulumbu, Mbokani, Brady and Wisdom.

How many more of the promotion winning team do you want out? We''re not Watford thank God.

Thing with the squad rules is that we effectively need to ship out the same number as we bring in - so far (Kean for Bunn possibly excepted) with each transfer in we''ve (often much) improved on what we had; this has to be the goal, always was and always will be.

It shouldn''t always be about money, but if ever there was a season to be in the Premier League and stay there then this is it. Perhaps there may be a late surprise yet but I can''t help thinking we really should have been bolder and splashed the cash. It''s all well and good being loyal to the squad that got us promoted but that doesn''t win football matches at Premier League level. I''m still waiting for the quality right back, centre half and striker.

Said the dimWiz who knows extremely little about football, let alone NCFC.

Are you supporting your team this year or just going to flippin'' well just moan about them yet again you sad and sour man?

Is that actually the real wiz?

He just stopped posting on here and, not being nasty here, I thought he''d kicked the bucket.

bang average that Dorrans with his premier league experience and being one of our best players so far this season. Bang average that Brady with the the national media saying how impressive he''s been so far and having the best stats of the squad in passing, tackling and chances created. Bang average that Mulumbu who many WBA fans were surprised to see go and have already said they need back.

You''d rather have Bournemouth or Watfords signings? We''ve bought to improve our squad, not just for the sake of splashing some cash and filling up the 25.

Loaned him actually mate. A big money Congo international who Kiev want shot of. I really hope he''s a Lukaku type for us, time will tell, he could be good if he''s hungry for the Prem League football. Just don''t think defensively we are good enough. The Bournemouth game will be a marker as to how far we''ve progressed defensively.

Brilliant, get your pitchfork nice and sharp.

Sick of the bi-annual idiot-fest that is the transfer window

Nothing changed, apart from our team and squad being stronger than the one that finished last season with extra quality in pretty much every position identified as needing strengthening over the summer.

Oh and it looks as though the Manager has signed pretty much all his first choice signings too in Mulumbu, Dorrans, Brady and Mbokani. Disastrous isn''t it...

With our defence and attack as it is we are nailed on certainties for the drop. Sundays performance would have been pathetic at league 1 level , we will always be too tinpot for the top flight while Delia is in control at the club .

Well Canary one and wiz you have shown how little of Norwich you actually watch if you think these players are not improvements. Dorrans has shown he is a player with quality who has the passing ability to make the team tick and so far has been one of our better players, the alternative in our squad was previously Johnson/ O''Neil to step into a centre midfield role. That other West Brom reject Mulumbu is a cut above any other midfielder we have and will probably take Tetteys place when fit as can do his role and has better passing. Something you would know if you had ever seen him play. The bang average Brady has already created as many goal scoring opportunities as anyone in the league and that''s whilst playing out of position. He has already shown he is the best crosser of the ball at the club.

Mbokani has been chased all summer and this pursuit shows Alex Neil had him on his A list, don''t let media speculation about players fool you into believing we are actually chasing players like Austin because frankly that shows how deluded you guys are.

How many times have we been promoted to the top flight under Delia''s ownership , it always ends the same , back in the Champs or lower . We just do not buy in the quality of player needed for the top flight , what other Prem club would even entertain Martin at centre back ? not one the player is borderline Champs class but starts every game for us . We wont survive and quite frankly after the summer window we have had we dont deserve to .

So because you don''t rate Martin at centre back the other player''s we have signed haven''t improved he team... Canaryone/ Wiz please explain because I don''t get how you not liking Delia or Martin has any impact on Brady, Mulumbu, Dorrans and Mbokani and whether they are better than what we had in the squad last season?

One last try.

We have brought in 4 players who would almost certainly be in the first choice 11. That''s almost half a team! How can that not be an improvement?

Players like Johnson, Tettey, Whits and Jerome/Grabban (mainstays of last year''s team) will now be fighting for places on the bench.
