Premier League Net Spend. Embarrassing

Recommended Posts

So the Prem average net spend (transfer spend on incoming minus transfer fees received for outgoing players) is around 22million.
We have spent absolutely nothing. Our net spend is nothing.
Brady 7mill for Johnno 6mill (+ add ons)
Mulumbu and Kean free
Wisdom and Mbokani loan.
And got rid of our highest earner too in addition to that.
We have the same back 4 we went down with, we sold our POTS, we have still got bloody Grabban and Lafferty.
We are in real trouble now.

Forgot about Dorrans.
So we''re 20mill behind everyone else roughly. And most of them had better squads to start with.
Yikes.
The club has some serious questions to answer.

[/quote]Here''s a first. I agree with you. We look like we are in real trouble.I make the net spend £4m though (£6m in for Jonno and £10m out for Brady and Dorrans).

Something has gone wrong..my guess is we sold believing others would come and they didn''t. Still it is not good enough - not by a LONG way, a few bad results and the board will face a lot of grief. The net spend is truly risible and we look like a club accepting relegation after just three games. Pathetic.

The sale of BJ was the salt on the wound
