? 0 Posted June 18, 2015 Excellent news from the club today as they have announced they will be paying their full time staff the Living Wage. It was due to be mandatory for all PL clubs next season but the club have acted a season early. We are now only the third club in England to do so after Chelsea and believe it or not, Luton! Nice one Mr McNally and the board, well done!
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,703 Posted June 18, 2015 So this is where the money has gone!Surprised that McNally authorised such an act of generosity.
Katie Borkins 1 Posted June 18, 2015 We''ll need to pay more than that if we''re going to attract the best players.

Crafty Canary 490 Posted June 18, 2015 That''s one heck of a pay cut for McNally to accept!
Monty13 2,173 Posted June 18, 2015 The club shouldn''t need PL riches to afford this and it''s absolutely scandalous PL clubs are effectively being forced to do this. I''m glad the club is acting on it but I''m not going to give them a pat on the back for something they should have already been doing.
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted June 19, 2015 Too many clubs rely on staff wanting to work for their lifelong club and will take a position as perceived as a "dream job" working for your football team, criminal that they get away with paying a pittance. Well done NCFC !
SwindonCanary 455 Posted June 19, 2015 I know the national minimum age rate per hour is about £6:50p per hour but what''s the living wage amount ?

SwindonCanary 455 Posted June 19, 2015 Thank you, I should really re-read these posts before hitting the ''post'' tab !
FenwayFrank 2,425 Posted June 19, 2015 Perhaps McNally will give me discount on my season ticket as I earn less than that
Molly Windley 76 Posted June 19, 2015 Whilst I support the paying of the "living wage" to those staff members at NCFC who were on the "minimum wage" I have a question. Will NCFC now be increasing the wages of those who`s pay was already at the £7.85 hourly rate by 20% as they are now being paid the same as people on a lower pay grade in jobs that have less responsibility and require fewer qualifications and skills? C Goodenough 5 Posted June 19, 2015 Everyone at the club should earn the same amount of money. All of them including the players. That''s my ideology anyway
