But what about poor old Snoddy on hols in the Lake District.....[/quote]I think I spotted him wind surfing on Windermere the other day - this chap kept falling off his board then all you could hear was a lot of Glaswegian complaining about how the wind had caught him out, how a piece of dfriftwood had got in the way, how the wake of a passing boat had tipped him off balance, how the board was not the right length, how the sail was not the right shape, how the onlookers deriding and laughing at him had made it worse. To cap it all, he got so fed up with his own board that he went up to another wind surfer, pushed them off their board and went off on his own with it. Therefore, Lakey, if you spotted Robert in the water it''s likely he still is under the Hughton influence and would not have ventured more than three feet from the shoreline before turning back.
