The Great Drinkell 50 Posted June 30, 2015 a calm approach and some realistic ambition, take Leicester they had every chance to get rid of Pearson with his off field antics but stuck with a good football manager and got there rewards. there is no doubt that Alex Neil is a good football manager but he''s learning and he''s being tested at a higher level.Let''s not panic or demand changes - if relegation was to happen... who has proven himself to be the best man to get us back up. Give the man his three years and lets enjoy it.
FenwayFrank 2,425 Posted June 30, 2015 Great idea, unfortunately someone has already decided he has five games ...
Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,557 Posted June 30, 2015 Leicester managed to sack Pearson, whilst never getting rid of him.A clever trick which managed to combine the benefit of the ''dead manager bounce'' as well as keeping stability at the club. A move that worked so well I expect more clubs to sack managers without actually making them leave.
Norfolk Mustard 94 Posted June 30, 2015 Nigel Pearson''s behaviour was that of someone not dealing with stress particularly well. I don''t find him in the least bit inspiring, however I give him lots of credit for his achievement last season. I doubt he''ll last another full season unless he moderates the way he handles himself.
Syteanric 1 Posted June 30, 2015 agreed NM.. I can actually see him punching someone on the side line...hopefully Wenger or Rodgers!
