Indy_Bones 441 Posted July 5, 2015 Seems likely that he''s going to spend another season warming the bench at Man Utd, especially after the signings of Depay and Pereira, clearly has great talent and massive potential, but needs a regular run of games in the right setup to flourish, and I wonder if we can offer that?Whilst he''s got the skills to play on the wing, he isn''t the quickest nor is his crossing the best (as yet), yet I have the feeling that he''d be perfect to play in the no 10 role, with a good range of passing and through balls as well as his excellent close control and balance.I can''t see Man Utd selling him at this point (unless LVG really can''t see a way of fitting him in), but I think they''d definitely consider a loan, which would give us a great player able to cover both wings and as an alternative to Wes in the middle.Thoughts? PurpleCanary 5,554 Posted July 5, 2015
Do you have any stats?
One stat from The Guardian Football Weekly was that he has been booked for diving as many or more times (I think it was the latter) than he has scored goals for Man Utd. But every team seems to need a specialist diver, so perhaps he could be groomed to fulfil that role for is in the long-term...
kirku 1,332 Posted July 5, 2015 Who is this Pereira they''ve signed? Surely you mean their youth player? Can''t see what difference he''ll make to Januzaj''s gametime. Not that we have a hope in hell of signing him anyway.

KeiranShikari_2 0 Posted July 5, 2015 I remember that one time he had a good game against Sunderland and then he was hyped up as one of the best young players in the world.Don''t want him. My though is that you should stop making suggestions, Indy.
Craig Brown 0 Posted July 5, 2015 AdnanJanuzjaj began his career with FC Brussels - but joined Anderlecht at 10 years old. When he was 16 years old in March 2011 Man Utd signed him and he joined Man Utd''s youth team / academy. To be fair to the lad he hasn''t really had a chance to play for Man Utd. I think he needs games and experience and I am sure Norwich City could offer that. He got 3 assists and 4 goals in just 27 appearances. So I am sure if he played more games he could get more assists and goals. He could do a job for us as a winger or attacking midfielder. We should sign him on a season long loan. I guess the other option is to sign left winger Robbie Brady from Hull. Will have to do some research on him and provide some stats.Man Utd2013-14 -4 goals & 3 assists & 27 appearances (league)Total appearances including cup competitions - 56 apps
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted July 5, 2015 If we are going down the loan route, I''d rather look at Jordan Ibe if he is looking for game time. Quality winger who tore plenty of teams including us apart in the championship. Great shout down the left IMO. Failing that, Perhaps one of the 100 Chelsea players may be up for the switch? I lose track of who is out in loan, who is getting games and who even still plays for them tho! From the other loan options, Pritchard off spurs if we don''t get Yedlin is a decent shout. Not many other youth players spring to mind that would interest me but I''m probably forgetting some options. I have heard good things about Gnabry but not seen much to know if he''s good enough to challenge wes or whoever yet or if he can play out wide.
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted July 5, 2015 Brady is a completely different player to Januzaj as he is a more withdrawn winger. He would kill two birds with one stone as well since he can cover at left back. Not too comfortable at the thought of januzaj playing left back! Any Virgil Van Dijk deal would help that cause as well but we will be waiting until August for him as Celtic will use him in the cl qualifier. We would also have a fight on our hands with people like Sunderland and villa so we are gambling time there if we overlook other options in the hope of getting him in August.I just hope we don''t end up in an elmander situation again where we aim high, don''t get our targets and panic buy to cover. I think we have a stronger side now tho so if we do miss our main targets, we will more likely stick with what we have.
tom cavendish 0 Posted July 5, 2015 Januzaj was excellent for a while but then lost form and got a reputation for diving. I think the diving increased as he lost confidence and a bit of pace. His creative unpredictability is his strength but some could consider that a risk in comparison to someone who is less adventurous but more consistent. He is 20 so now needs to play regularly to develop as a player and yet Man Utd might be less inclined to allow him out on-loan because he doesn''t count in their 25-man Premier League squad.I wonder whether Norwich will be able to create many chances to score next season so I think it is well worth Alex Neil asking Sir Alex asking about him. Craig Brown 0 Posted July 6, 2015 I would rather we sign Robbie Brady. He is very versatile - can play left back or left wing. He would provide good cover for us and he would make Olsson fight for his place. He is good at scoring goals and creating goals. I am sure if we offer Hull City enough money we can buy him. I have done some research on him and I am impressed with the amount of goals & assists he has got for a left back / left winger. Alex Neill has got to try and sign him.
