Mello Yello 2,289 Posted January 22, 2004 In the not too distant future, the new stand will be officially opened. I''m a tadge curious as to where the away fans are going to be accommodated. Next week against visitors Sheff Utd [as the temporary seats and fence have been removed], are the Blades fans going to sit cross legged school assembly style on the running track?. I assume then for future games, the away support will be in the new stand? Its just that I seem to remember in the Chase era, visitors were for a short trial period seated in the upper Barclay. As you can imagine! various missiles [small & medium sized plus oral fluids], were indiscriminately deposited on the unfortunate below.
