BroadstairsR 2,139 Posted July 15, 2015 Was the Wembley day the Club''s best ever exposure? It seems likely. The Guardian today has an article, about televised cricket, suggesting that Sky''s viewing audience for the Ashes is lower than anticipated and disappoints. It mentions that the third New Zealand game attracted more than the Aussie game did, although I would suggest that the Kiwi appeal benefited from not having to compete with Wimbledon or the seriously hot weather. The channels highest figure for test cricket this Summer has been 577,000 and, Quote: "Fewer than the one-sided Championship play-off final between Norwich City and Middlesbrough, which attracted 757,000 viewers."Excellent exposure for the Club, excellent advertisement for our style of play and I particularly like the "one-sided" bit.One of the best days in the history of NCFC surely?Exposure, reward and a performance to be proud of.(I would guess that the Sky figures relate to the home audience. More would have viewed Worldwide.)
