Brady has signed...

Finally! Great news as he was without a doubt our top target this summer other than maybe mulumbu.

Does this mean we will still look for a left back or do you reckon we will just use him to cover there?

That is our left back and left midfield spaces filled.

A shrewd signing to cover two positions.

As a newly promoted team, this a clever use of money.

Young - Talented - Versatile

Sounds like it''ll be wisdom, a cheap 3rd keeper and then a striker and we are done barring any surprises. I think (hope) we splash out on a striker as any cheapos bought in will be no better bets than what we have already. Yes we got stung with RVW but I hope it doesn''t put us off.

When I saw him play for Hull against Norwich at the KC Stadium he looked pretty nifty on the left of midfield. Clearly had talent, however being rather lightweight, he didn''t look much like a defender to me...

At long last !!! Finally we''ve completed this bit of business, I thought this saga would never end. Why did it take so long? I can''t remember us taking this long to sign anyone before, can you.

It seems like a good bit of business as he can play left wing or left back. I look forward to seeing what he can do. Great stuff.

Apart from Wisdom and a goalkeeper is that the end of our transfer signings this window? I expect a few to leave ie Turner, Lafferty, O''Neil, and one of the Murphy''s on loan.

Or perhaps RVW instead of Lafferty, as perhaps Lafferty is more likely to score and play up front on his own.

Embarrassing? Please. So you would rather the scatter gun approach from Watford and we spunk £5m on Steve burger van and a load of other random or injury prone players? Maybe Bournemouth''s version of signing wingers with the end product of a chocolate tea pot defenders first grant Holt then Cameron Jerome made look like school boys on more than one occasion ( distin and mings respectively FYI).

Quality transfers take a lot of work. Look at essien to Chelsea. Took all summer but he transformed their entire team.

Brady is a carefully, meticulously planned transfer for a good price at a good age who fits our squad to a t. He is also a quality player who has on more than one occasion proven a thorn in our side when we have faced him.

As the manager says, I hope we keep our patient, professional approach to our transfers going. Just a couple more needed and over a month to sort it.

I hope I eat my words but numb by this signing, not really making me feel this signing is going to be the difference to shore up our defence or produce assists and goals.

So good luck brady... my mind has already moved on to the other business that we need to secure.

centre half, striker and goalkeeper.

Wisdom is a defender for great competition in an area where we do struggle. But we need a stand out leader in that defence and a striker to help carry the load. Goalkeeper needs to be addressed too

Another master stroke by McNally and the Scouting Department, long may they continue guiding our strategy with their genius.

Anyone who thinks this is a bad thing should go and hang their heads in shame.
