Anyone for Rickie Lambert?

Recommended Posts

It is indeed most unfortunate that we are unable to compete with established PL teams, such as Crystal Palace and West Brom, having to settle for players surplus to their requirements.

Today''s Times has him at West Brom today for talks, but also states that it''s a loan deal being discussed with Liverpool.

This seems a strange turn of events, if true, but it would suit us better as well.

Reports of a 3 million pound bid going around, was on Sky Sports, wasn''t really clear which club had bid though!

Supposedly at West Brom today for talks, hmm
Please No,

For the cost involved keep RvW instead!

Would be so disappointed!
I think Lambert has proven himself to be an all round much better Premier League striker than RvW, despite both being completely different types of player. So, if we had to start the season with one or the other up front, the logical decision would be Lambert. More goals, more assists, and overall better hold up play and interlinking, whilst also being an out ball.

Sounds like lambert to west brom is at an advanced stage.

If it does happen would anyone have Anichebe or Ideye Brown as surely they need to offload other strikers?
If he joined WBA then he could probably commute from where his family are settled in the north-west.
Just to add that Lambert has taken a wage cut to join WBA.
