How things have changed since 01/02

I found an old copy of Championship Manager (01/02) and as I hadn''t played on it in a long time decided to take a look. I figured that as it was only 3 years old things wouldn''t have chnaged that much. How wrong i was!

There were no fewer than 12 players who are no longer on our books: Emblen, Nedergaard, Sutch, Russell, Giallanza, Notman, Coote, Libbra, Llewellyn, McGovern, Jackson and Kenton

Players in the Ipswich squad included Sereni, Bramble, Gaardsoe, Hreidarsson, Clapham, Finidi, Holland and Stewart. 8 players they have had to shift.

Ipswich, Derby, Leeds and West Ham were all in the Premiership with "secure" finances! Ha, how times change.

It just goes to show what a cruel, unforgiving and fast changing world football is!
