Pabs

Pubs dedicated for Norwich / Boro for wembley

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if pubs declare themselves for either team?

And is there a popular pub near wembley or somewhere in London where NCFC fans are gathering before or after match?

Middlesbrough have a list of pubs allocated to them. They appear to be the ones on the high street side of the ground.

Really looking to the pre match atmosphere in these pubs. It was great fun back in Cardiff all those years ago.

It would be good if they could publish a list for us too, somehow. Then we can all meet up and have a disco!!!

Not sure about dedicated pubs but with prob about half the Boro fans staying on the Sunday. Trafalgar Square will we a sea of red the night before as with the precious 4 wembley finals in the 90''s.

Agree that the atmosphere in Cardiff was great-all the little sandwich bars doing alcohol, I''m not sure they all had the proper licences though!

Officially announced pubs:

The Met Police Football Unit traditionally segregates supporters by allocating pubs in the lead-up to big matches.

This morning, @MPSFootballUnit revealed that fans of Wycombe Wanderers, Swindon Town and Norwich City - who are contesting play-off finals at Wembley over the bank holiday weekend - will be able to use 10 pubs east of Wembley.

They are: Crystals Club, The Parish, First Class Sports Bar, The Wembley Tavern, Flyers Last Stand, The Torch, Crock of Gold, Moore Spice, Watkins Folly and Blue Check Café.

The First Class looks small from the outside, but has a large beer garden at the back. The last time I was there it also had a beer tent to ease the queue. This was a couple of years ago so it may have changed.
