Lessingham Canary 108 Posted May 21, 2015 Cancel the car park, through away those coach tickets and let the train take the strain, and enjoy a few beers on the way as TSSA union just announced calling off any industrial action.
Matt Juler 208 Posted May 21, 2015 TSSA are the smaller of the two unions, but this is positive news. Hopefully the RMT will now follow.
cornish sam 1,039 Posted May 21, 2015 Grrr! It was all just a money making scheme by McNasty to squeeze more money out of god fearing fans by getting them on the coaches!!! Delia Out!
Howson is now! 0 Posted May 21, 2015 Not really. Return from Nozza is now £48. That''s just under £250 for our car of five so think we''ll stick to driving.
Matt Juler 208 Posted May 21, 2015 You should be able to use GroupSave and save some money with groups of 3 or more.
Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted May 21, 2015 Rail strike most certainly isn''t cancelled - just a part of it is. Even if the TSSA don''t strike they are tiny compared to the RMT and there will still be wide spread cancellations etc.
Branston Pickle 4,149 Posted May 21, 2015 Is a shame, I remember in ''85 they laid on specials and cheap fares, was 15 and it was a great adventure going into London with my mate!
Matt Juler 208 Posted May 21, 2015 RMT have also called off action, so hopefully a full rail service will be reinstated (at least as far as Stratford for those coming from the flatlands)!
Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted May 21, 2015 Awesome. Nice easy drive to Watford and then a train in.
eeyore 11 Posted May 21, 2015 As someone who works in the industry I''m happy on both fronts. For those considering taking the train there should be no problem as the strike has been suspended with enough time not to prevent a gradual "run down" of the system. As said trains will terminate at Stratford so nice and easy as the Jubille line from Stratford takes you straight to Wembley.Just need a good win now !
