Drive into Wembley

Any advice on the best way to access the Wembley area for those of us driving down (M1, A1 or North Circular off the M25)?

End of the M1, North Circular Rd is likely to be a comlete bottleneck with traffic to Wembley from both sets of supporters. Would strongly consider driving round M25 to the M40 and driving in that way as there is bound to be less traffic coming in to Wembley from the west.  A few more miles, but more likely to keep moving imo.   Just an idea, but it is what I''m going to do.  Been stuck at Staple''s Corner too many times!

Tend to agree with LDC, especially afterwards try and stay off North Circular, will cost you hours !

There''s a peak in traffic between 12 and 5pm on holiday mondays, so best to get there early and leave late. You''d have a much easier return run (and avoid the M25) if you left after say 8pm.

avoid the north circular at all costs unless you want to get stuck for 4 hours!!!M1 route then M25 i''d suggest

if you get to the bottom of the m1 without too mch trouble from m25. wembley is then only 5 min drive. in bad traffic maybe half hour. not that bad.
