TimDim 0 Posted May 31, 2015 2. Out singing the scheme in the last moments of the 2nd leg. To consider they were 1 minute from Wembley yet all you can hear on tv and radio (I was there tho) is "Ipswich till I die" twtdUnsurprisingly the evidence doesn''t back this up. And rather strangely this idiot claims to have heard both the tv and the radio, whilst also being at the game !https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knq72zUjln86.17 secsI suppose this nonsense will now be added to their claims that it was only the sending off that allowed us to win. That they were better than us over the previous three halves of the semi final. And we have to suppose, that eventually it will also become part of their glorious history. Branston Pickle 3,656 Posted May 31, 2015 Ignore them is the best I can suggest - none of it makes a difference any more than most of their bleating makes any sense. We won. They didn''t. We went in to win the final. They didn''t. They need to realise that their whining sounds pretty pathetic, what, two weeks after the event. Tbh I''d have loved it even more had we been completely outplayed in the s-f and won to a fluke 90th minute own goal...but the truth is that we all know the better side won, as it did in both league games. GPs Beard 0 Posted June 1, 2015 Bless. It''s just their way of dealing with it. As someone once said ; "If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through."AND they won the Fairs Cup in 1867.
Bury Green 0 Posted June 1, 2015 Reading ''Bin Talk'' is somewhat reminiscent of the glory days of Comical Ali''There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!.''Just so long as they believe it despite an overwhelming amount of evidence that suggests otherwise then they are happy little chaps.Bless their little cotton socks, their delusion really is rather quaint. Drazen Muzinic 1,445 Posted June 1, 2015 I''d heard they are going to add two more stars to the badge on their shirts to commemorate their Play-off semi-final goals. Because these are the only things that Binners under the age of 45 have to celebrate.
ellis206 0 Posted June 1, 2015 One of their posts made me spit my drink out in laughter. Apparently they have fans come to watch them from all over Europe whereas the furthest fan we have is from Kings Lynn. It''s comedy gold, the delusion is beyond belief, well worth a read if you are in need of a laugh.
Bury Green 0 Posted June 1, 2015 Oh do come along, you''d better brush up on your geography.I''d imagine they can draw support from as far away as the Isle of Ely, Canvey Island, Havergate Island and probably Rockall. As can can be seen above, they have an enormous geographic reach due in no small part to having such an illustrious past. It's Character Forming 1,160 Posted June 1, 2015 I find it deeply satisfying they have to descend to this level of desperation.Put it this way. Your team has lost the last four league derbies against your main rival without being competitive in any of them. You then get to play them in the promotion playoff semis, a priceless chance for a weaker team to overturn the squad that''s better on paper. You fail, without ever really troubling them (although you do hold out until half time in the second leg before getting swept away). And you then have to put up with everyone saying how predictable it was when your rivals cruise through the playoff final to the Premier league. In football, things are about as bad for the scum as you can imagine right now. So it''s not really a surprise this is the best they can come up with.
