The Bristol Nest 513 Posted June 24, 2015 I am going to download kodi tonight having watched a you tube clip. I may understand it by the start of the season.
SwindonCanary 455 Posted June 24, 2015 Kodi is the same as the £90 boxes the only difference is that you have to start from scratch by downloading all the add-ons plenty of YouTube clips to show you how. Good Luck
JF 694 Posted June 25, 2015 Am still very happy with my purchase of this and would and have recommended it to others

Yellow Fever Returns 0 Posted June 25, 2015 I''m with Morty on this.Possibly a bit more expensive but I''d rather pay someone to do it for me.I got an android box from ebay & the company has put an app on where they update the box at regular intervals.Never heard of these until Morty mentioned them on this thread, but I''m well chuffed with mine.Massive thanks Morty, you''re a star !! 93vintage 16 Posted June 25, 2015
I would say though Morty, for anyone who is willing to spend the 15-30 minutes setting things up, you''d be much better of doing something like this:Buy a Lenovo S8 ultra thin Intel Atom android tablet for only £69.95http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lenovo-tab-s8-tablet-intel-atom-android-8-wi-fi-16gb-black-69-95-after-30-cashback-2232570Then buy a chrome cast for 20-30 quid from well, anywhere. Then you get a tablet you can use for web browsing, or for the streaming itself anywhere you are. Alongside that, with the chromecast you can wirelessly stream it to any TV with an HDMI port.Much better value for people!
That''s a better value and technically superior solution, but you''ve got to remember that lots of people on here can''t work out how to post an image or make a link clickable. Hence setting up kodi on a portable device would realistically be way beyond their capabilities.
The Bristol Nest 513 Posted June 28, 2015 Thanks Swindon.I downloaded Kodi. It works well although I discovered TVMC which I have used on my android devices. It is Kodi preloaded though I added a lot more football channels. Brilliant.
KIO 0 Posted June 29, 2015 In answer to the OP and speaking as one who is not fortunate enough to have a season ticket and is also unable to get to many away games, hopefully nothing at all <ok>
wcorkcanary 4,329 Posted June 29, 2015 I would like to thank canary Dogg, and all his aliases for starting this thread, as we have learned much regarding accessing live matches remotely. CD, WE SALUTE YOU..

ZLF 271 Posted June 29, 2015 love the irony in trying to insult "plastics" waveney enables their largest step forward in months to become far more effective armchair fans.
93vintage 16 Posted June 30, 2015 It looks like the authorities are starting to crack down on people selling these kodi boxes, at least to the extent that they won''t be able to market them for the purposes of watching copyrighted content for free.Any boxes which come pre-loaded with certain addons will probably end up banned from sale, so anyone wanting one might want to think about buying one before this happens.https://torrentfreak.com/pirate-android-tv-box-sellers-raided-by-police-150612/. Dave 0 Posted June 30, 2015 Going back to the OP - they are fighting a losing battle on this one - as quickly as 1 site is shut a new one will open However i wouldnt worry about lost revenue - the contracts agreed in advance are fixed fees, if sky were to lose 2 million subscribers tomorrow they would still have to pay the same amount or call in the administrators, and the same would apply to foreign broadcasters. scoop 38 Posted August 16, 2015 So did anyone watch yesterdays game on their android box .. how did it fair and what channels was the match shown on?
Canary Jedi 578 Posted August 16, 2015 Awesome HD stream thanks to Morty''s tip for an M8 box and subscription with infusum.tv
SwindonCanary 455 Posted August 16, 2015 I had it on Kodi using ''sportsdevil'' not too sure which channel it was but it turned out to be the sky commentary
Canary Jedi 578 Posted August 17, 2015 What''s the quality like on sportsdevil?I prefer to watch in comfort of my lounge on the big screen, which means the stream has to be good otherwise it looks rubbish. Plus1hd is another good subscription provider but doesn''t show the golf which is why I use infusum
Gary 0 Posted August 17, 2015 Just get a chromecast for £30 and stream it to your TV. Loads of feeds online like www.feed2all.eu
CaptnCanary 0 Posted August 17, 2015 Had a play with this stuff yesterday. Found that I could install Kodi on both my android tablet and my Windows Laptop. Setting it up was pretty easy following a couple of youtube videos. I can watch on my TV via the laptop HDMI connector. Found a channel called Football Today where there was a full replay of the Sunderland game. Quality was much better than the usual streams - close to non-HD TV. Looks like away day streams are going to be much better from now on!
