Johnson goal

Recommended Posts

Took it very well. Great result

WHY are we wearing the away kit at Brighton?

Was it because it was a dull day, and it was a ''beat the offside'' ploy? (dark kit makes it harder for the Lino to be 100% sure, whereas a bright yellow kit........) or was it a commercial decision? :)

Ta. Nice running from Howson to drag the defence out of position. Great stuff.

Just as a follow up to my comment from last night

http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?320657-Away-teams-wearing-their-away-kit-when-they-don-t-need-to

Even the Brighton fans don''t think it is right!

Btw Johnson took his goal like a man with tremendous confidence, one or two players would have blazed that over, in times gone by, possibly Brad himself a year or two ago

I can see the point about wearing away kits, but Brighton unnecessarily wore their Bournemouth-looking away kit at FCR this season so it''s a bit of a pointless argument/moan coming from their fans. Perhaps clubs can come to some agreement on it or something - otherwise away kits would hardly ever be worn by many clubs. There''s obviously a marketing thing to think about, something I have no particular problem with.
