nutty nigel 7,528 Posted April 8, 2015 Greetings PUPs and welcome to week thirty six of our Rays Funds season. This week we have City-til-I-die in charge and selecting the final six. CTID is another of our long time PUPs who’s been unlucky not to get the final six in the past. But he came good earlier this season when he got 3 correct selections when in charge of the Norwich bet. Which if I remember rightly was the match against Bolton last October. Must a good omen to have him picking the final six on the same weekend as we play Bolton in the reverse fixture. We can all help CTID to raise some more funds for the CSF by giving him our best selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend and listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 web sites. For the Norwich picks for this weekend it’s my pleasure to introduce a new PUP with Making Plans picking from the options. I’m really grateful to MP for stepping up because I promised our anonymous benefactor that I’d get new people involved in this and I was struggling to do so. Making Plans has bravely stepped up to the plate so let’s make him welcome and provide him with some good picks for our beloved Canaries important game at Bolton on Saturday. We have £6 to spend MP, so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPs suggestions or of your own. Last week was one of our best ever adding over £100 to the funds raised meaning we will certainly top £1,000 for the season. That’s incredible. I would never have thought it possible and just shows what can be achieved by raising money while having fun. And there’s still 5 weeks left to get even more. Now I’ll hand this week’s thread over to City-til-I-die and Making Plans. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation. Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Dave and MP ... the thread is yours.......[:D]... lake district canary 4,531 Posted April 8, 2015 League 2 for me please. 3rd versus bottom team, Wycombe have twice as many points as Cheltenham, so...Wycombe v Cheltenham, home win. For the Norwich bet, I''ll go for a 2-1 win to us with Dorrans scoring either goal. Good luck CTID and MP.
Mr Angry 1,554 Posted April 8, 2015 Top against one off the bottom in Argentina, Boca Juniors have never lost to Nueva Chicago-although they haven''t played each other since 2007. Home win for Boca, odds are 1/4.Good luck to all PUPs and especially CTID.
Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted April 8, 2015 I''m really liking the ''insurance bets'' at the moment – betting on our promotion rivals to win at longer odds than standard bankers. Good for profitability, good for the soul. With that in mind, considering their respective recent runs of form Watford look outstanding value at 4/5 to win away to Millwall (the same odds that we are to win at a far superior Bolton side). And if they don''t, hey, I''ll shrug and get over it... [:)]For the Norwich game, a speculative scorecast seems about right as I''m really struggling to offer any good value – Jerome to score first in a 3-1 win offers 55/1. Failing that, just the usual – Norwich to win and both teams to score at 3/1 is a good markup on 4/5 for the win.

Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,219 Posted April 9, 2015 In the spirit of Alex Neil, think I''ll add a ruthless streak to the pot:TNS vs Aberystwyth Home win pleaseAs for the Match bet, suspect a rougher, scrappier game likely. 1-2 victory for Norwich with Vadis to score.Best wishes to CTID and MP, plus a random abbraccio and a kiss on both Cheeks for Herman.Parma

Valencia v Levante Home Win. And my suggestion for Making Plans is an outcome that''s been right a few times for Norwich away from home in Jonny Howson to score the first goal. PurpleCanary 5,557 Posted April 10, 2015 The Hessen section of the German Oberliga.Rot-Weiss Hadamar to win at home against Schwalmstadt.Rot-Weiss Hadamar, with a 10-1-1 and 30/9 home record, are in third and still with a good chance of promotion. Schwalmstadt, with a 0-2-11 and 6/47 away record, are rock-bottom, and doomed to relegation. The current odds are 1/6 or 1/7.---For the NCFC bet I suggest a 2-1 win for the Canaries, at 15/2.Good luck to all!
