Took Dorrans off far too early, and when Wes went too we completely lost any idea we had of holding the ball and creating a chance.

We ended up playing into there hands, long balls to which a Middlesbrough head was first everytime.

Sometimes you have to just accept that you''ve been completely out played. Not in terms of balance of play, but the fact Boro came with a game plan and executed it perfectly. Alex Neil didn''t have an answer today.

At least we can accept the playoffs are more probable now, as opposed to throwing away automatic on the last day, which almost always precedes playoff failure. I think we need to rest a couple of players and prepare properly for an assault on the play offs.
