The Phantom 0 Posted April 17, 2015 Your incompetence has cost the club you are supposed to love automatic promotion.I never want to see that full again at Carrow Road

Canary from the Waveney Valley 0 Posted April 17, 2015 He''s talking sense! If we had spent more time trying to lure the messiah home, rather than "scouring Europe" for Neil Adams we''d be champions by now.

JF 694 Posted April 17, 2015 i would agree to say Adams and the board have cost us automatic promotion but not in that poor run of results. The decision to freeze Bassong out and then loan him to a rival that looks likely to now be promoted ahead of us has to rank as one of the worst decisions ever made by a norwich manager/board. 93vintage 16 Posted April 17, 2015 But the OP is spot on, we''d have stood a much better chance if we changed manager earlier than January. Instead the board soldiered on with someone who lacked experience, even after it was clear that they were out of their depth. Our board had months to search for a decent boss, but somehow didn''t bother to do a thorough search. Watford by contrast had a contingency plan in place and were quick to change in October rather than leave a rookie in charge. There are no guarantees with any new appointment, but we were disorganised and ended up needlessly shooting ourselves in the foot. Excuses like nobody better than Adams was available don''t wash in this situation because it''s clear we never looked properly.
Cantiaci Canary 556 Posted April 18, 2015 Neil Adams shouldn''t be blamed. Those guilty of unnecessarily hiring a novice manager with ZERO wins on his CV have full responsibilty. The decision left Alex Neil too much to do if we wanted automatic promotion.
Baywing 0 Posted April 18, 2015 Gotta feeling some may be clutching at straws !The reality is we havent been ruthless or capable enough at Carrow road all season under either manager. We have lost 5 times at home this season 3 of which are under the present managers watch !! John 0 Posted April 18, 2015 Would our board have even thought to appoint Alex Neil during the summer in 2014? I highly doubt it.
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted April 18, 2015 What a load of nonsense. Just look at Fulham and Cardiff for one second and how badly they have done, comming back from relegation is always tough and we''ve done pretty well. One of our biggest problems is arrogant fans with a sense of entitlement.
